Description
Hello lovely people
I am an Englishman injecting life and love into an old traditional Cretan stone house.
It's in a beautiful area called the Apokoronas and the nearest city is Chania.
The International airport is in Chania.
I have come a long way from 2021 when I first came here.
I am not here all the time but at least its quite comfortable now.
I have a little spare room separate from the main house for guests/workawayers.
Its very quiet here, no traffic only my sometimes noisy Greek neighbour!
The bathroom and toilet are in an outhouse with a hot gas shower.

I can show you the area and there are lots of walking trails nearby
I love to swim in good weather and so often I take my motorcycle in summer to head for a swim...happy to take you too!

I need help with cooking..I am mostly veggie but hopeless!
i am looking for a companion who will make us meals and keep my little house clean and tidy.
Someone who likes board games in the evenings, watch Netflix together and enjoy a glass of wine.
Some light help around the property would be appreciated. Perhaps you are an artist or a writer or work online?
I don't have WIFI so you would have to hot spot from your phone, as I do.
I have a workshop with lots of tools as i am an ex woodwork teacher. I can teach you skills if you want to learn.

You will be sleeping in the old wine room.
Its a separate building with power but quite tiny and rustic. It has a comfy double bed and space for your clothes.
Bathroom is also rustic and shared in another building.
The main house is a shared space for watching movies, reading, eating,emailing, writing or just relaxing.

I have a mountain bike for you to borrow.

Amazing!
She was here for 1 month and not only did she work hard but was awesome company too.
She kept the house clean, cooked meals and came up with some great ideas for projects around the property.
She was happy to try out new skills and worked diligently and with great care on everything she did.
