Sophie and Kim stayed with us for 11 days. It was a great time. They were easy going, hard working and great company. They were clean and tidy and always asked for clarification if they were unsure around requirements or how to do a task. I highly recommend these two to any potential host. We were sorry to see them move onto their next adventure

We were staying with Michelle and Ron for two weeks and we had such a great time!
Michelle and Ron are such kind and lovely people, they will treat you like family. They also have two dogs will grow on you.
The location is really beautiful, you will wake up with the sound of birds chirping and the view is absolutely stunning.
The work we helped
… read more with contained mainly cleaning, as Michelle and Ron were renovating a cottage house. The rest of our stay, we helped around their house, including cleaning their garden terrace.
The work we had to do was pretty varied, we never did the same thing for more than one day. Michelle and Ron explained everything cleary and if there were questions, they were always there to help.
We helped around 5 hours a day and got 2 days off. There were plenty of things we could do in our freetime.
Ron and Michelle showed us some amazing places. One evening they took us to the waterfalls and showed us the old train line and we enjoyed a lovely dinner at a cozy pub.
We also spent a little time with the horses, went on an bike trail or went on a walk to observe the surroundings. On our weekend off we took the train to Melbourne and spent our two days at the beach. They gave us many insider tips and drove us to and from the station whenever we needed it.
Overall our stay with Ron and Michelle was truly fantastic, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

… read more were taken to different places to see waterfalls, we went to a restaurant and I've eaten the Johnny Cash Parma Level 10 in spice dish, it was brutal, but a moment that I wont forget. Lachlan, for the most part the son of Ron and Michelle, managed our work. He is a great, understanding, kind and professional provider of work. I wouldn't call him boss, because the there was no felt hierarchy at place. Could say the same for Ron and Michelle, both wonderful hosts.Just give your best and that should be enough, if you don't stuff up completely. I wanted to give my best, because of the experience they provided.
I can surely recommend this workaway, with best intention.

We hosted Nick for 3-4 weeks. It was a great experience. For one week he shared our family home. He fitted in seamlessly and was quick to see the daily chores like dishwasher stacking and unsticking without being asked. during Nicks stay we also hosted 3 other workaways, at which time all of them shared another house we have. … read more new arrangement and quickly befriended new Workawayers. Nick is a hard worker, conscientious, thoughtful and adaptable. We loved hosting his family for a lunch and really look forward to catching up with Nick and his family in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending Nick to potential hosts. Had a wonderful time with Ron, Michelle, and their son Lachi. I instantly felt welcome in their home and even came back to visit them with my family after my stay. Amongst the various jobs I did, I mowed the lawn, helped install irrigation lines on a project they had, spread fertiliser on their truffle farm, power washed the outside of the house,
… read more helped clean out one of their properties, and did some other general house work. If you're unsure where you want to workaway at, I highly recommend going to Ron and Michelle's. They're very accommodating, and you'll be sure to have enough variety in the work you do, so it won't get too monotonous. So if you're looking for a fun workaway in a warm, and sometimes a little hectic (the good kind), home I'd say apply here.This Workawayer has chosen to keep their profile private.
