James and Jen are absolutely wonderful , so keen to take on whatever tasks we asked of them, with great energy, consistency, thoroughness and efficiency. They are also great company, fun to have around and highly intelligent - offering brilliant solutions that we hadn't thought of. We are still reaping the benefits of all their hard work months

Stephanie is a delightful, mature, helpful and intelligent person who joined us enthusiastically and diligently with our olive harvest. She is always ready for the next way in which she can be of help and is good company, having slotted straight into life on the farm and the little team we put together. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We had an amazing time with Quinto & Leticia. A last-minute, spontaneous trip to the south led us to their magical slice of land where we arrived just in time to help out with various garden work and the olive harvest. We helped to dig the asecia channels to feed the trees, weeded, painted the roof, made swales, sewed nets, cooked and more. It was
… read more lovely to have a variation of work and to start each day at 10am with a delicious breakfast. We always ate well, enjoyed spending time together and having intriguing and uplifting conversations. Leticia's astrology and Quinto's storytelling is a twin-flame match made in heaven. By the end we felt like a family had formed between us and felt a little magnet pulling us to stay..maybe if we didn't have flights booked!
My (Ellie's) birthday fell on one of our last days there and we were woken up by a chorus of happy birthday around the yurt. Quinto made a fantastic chocolate marble cake with orange and sunflower seeds. We harvested the olives whilst listening to music and met Leticia's lovely daughter Sophie & her boyfriend. We also made trips to Orgiva's Thursday market and had a day exploring Beneficio which was an amazing experience.
A beautiful spot, lots of interesting stories and local history, friendly neighbours, straw bale round house, funny stories, shamanic teachings. This was our favourite workaway so far and it was so lovely to connect with Quinto & Leticia in their alternative life. Hope to see you guys soon. What lovely people! From the get go we were well aquatinted, very open and kind folk... Lots of honest discussion and learning. They shared their particular skills and knowledge with us (I won't give it away ;) )
The work was long hours but we felt very invested in the harvest and climbing trees and picking olives is nice work.

A lovely couple, cheerful and great company, we enjoyed having you around, and were happy to comply with your strict insistence on extra days off in lieu of working a few extra hours to get the olive harvest finished

We had some time left before an other workaway appointment en luckily we found last minute a place at Quinto and Leticia, because what an experience was this! Altough sometimes we felt some presure to work more hours and days than has been described on their profile (5 hours. 5 days) and the communication was sometimes a bit weird, we enjoyed the
… read more time spend here. It was December, but the sun was so nice and we could work with the olives in our t-shirts! The community where they live in is inspirational and the area very beautiful. Also sleeping in an old typical hippie caravan (you know, with 'chinese massage here' painted on the door) was an experience itself. And not to forget: prepare yourself for some great Italian food!
