Thank you so much for having me Laura and sorry for only writing this feedback now.
I've stayed with Laura and her lovely family for almost 2 weeks in April and was so lucky to have her as my first workaway host. Since it was my first time alone in another country I felt a bit lonely when I arrived but Laura took me to the beach on the first
… read more afternoon and we had a lovely talk during our beach walk which made me feel a lot better. From the beginning she made sure I was comforable and that I always had everything I needed. She also helped me with organizational things since I had almost no idea about how things in Ireland work - from public transport, to people, language, and just Irish life and culture in general. We ate dinner together every evening (I fell in love with her mushroom pasta!!) and we often got caught up in conversations (sometines for hours) after. I always felt like a part of the family, never felt not welcome and really enjoyed my time with Laura, the kids and the pets - the latter always offered company and cuddles during the times I was working.
Speaking of work - it was very easy, just clearing out the driveway of dandelions and a bit of helping in the garden. I could choose when to work and was able to finish the driveway in just a few days. I had lots of free time to go on walks, visit the city and the beaches and see the fairy bridges which I can very much reccommend! Laura even took me on a day trip to see the hidden waterfall. She really made sure that I was able to see the area and had a good time there.
I can very much reccommend Laura as a host if you like nature and a calm and peaceful rural life with work that is absolutely manageble. You have lots of time to yourself to wind down or explore the area. You also have lots of privacy in your accomodation since it's separate from the main house with wifi and a private bathroom. You really have everything you'll need.
Again, thank you for this experience Laura, I wish you and your family nothing but the best! Please give Cara and the kitties lots of pets from me!Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Lea)
It was a pleasure to have Lea as a workaway, she completed tasks efficiently and fitted right in with family life
I would recommend Lea as a workaway
Thanks Lea

Denise is a great worker and a pleasure to have, even though I abandoned her most of the time, also cooked us a delicious meal I would recommend Denise to any host

Even though I stayed only for about a week I had a lovely time with Laura and her family in donegal.
The work was in the garden and even though it can be stormy at times it was totally fine. The cats and dogs of them are absolutely sweet and will give you company while you work outside. The room I stayed in was very big, clean and you have a lot
… read more of privacy since it is not directly in the main house. Even though Laura told me the household and herself are rather quiet I had a lovely time and got a long very good with everyone and sometimes our long conversations after lunchtime prevented me from going directly back to work (which was totally fine with me haha). Laura is a great host who will make sure you're comfortable and to show you around and drop you off wherever you want to be. Once again thank you for everything, Laura. I wish you and your lovely family nothing but the best!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Lesley has a great work ethic finished all the tasks in the garden even though it rained most of the time, and got along great with kids even risked having his hand bitten off by an emu to show Petra it was safe to feed them
Thanks again Lesley

I went there for a week and it was lovely, Laura and her daughter's are so much fun, really communicative and they will be shure that you don't need anything. The work is bot difficult and you'll have plenty of time to visit the beautiful surroundings, i highly recommend

Matis was a great first workaway for us, he is easy to get along with and hard working was very patient helping my daughter with her French homework. Also left his accommodation spotless
