Hello you lovely workawayer!
We, my 20 year old son and my husband live in Piha, a small surf village on the West Coast of New Zealand (North Island).
We are always looking for workawayers, mainly with painting, gardening, cleaning and general upkeep of us, the dogs and the house. If you can cook, this a great plus.
We offer your own room, fast fibre internet, walking distance to the beach.
PS. Surf school is just across the road...

I stayed for two weeks with Bryce, Stefanie, and Josh in Piha. Everyone was very accommodating, and the workload was quite manageable. Most of the day-to-day labor consisted of housekeeping/cleaning, with a few outdoor projects thrown into the mix every so often. Daniel was a wonderful workawayer! From day one until the last day, he was super willing to take on any task! He was very easy to live with and super courteous! We left him even to look after the house and all the animals so we could go traveling. He sent us regular video updates and the dogs were happy as Larry! Highly recommended! Also: Daniel… read more

I stayed with this family for around 3 weeks, and it was such a lovely time. I felt so welcome by both Bryce and Steff, being fortunate enough to spend the Christmas season with them. They are really communicative making the stay with them very easily. Always willing to share and help me around I also enjoyed helping them as much as I could :).

Jonas is a FANTASTIC young man. Very hard working, with a real skill for gardening and garden DESIGN! He cut some plants according to a Foto I gave him and when I came home our overgrown garden looked like a park!!! Stunning.
