Valentina and Lorenzo’s incredible park was my first workaway and i was so lucky that it was!
From the first day, they were so welcoming and incredibly kind hosts. They were so generous the whole time I was there, taking us to visit beautiful towns nearby, introducing us to their friends and showing us their way of life!

… read more house had everything we needed and the town is only a 10 minute walk if you do need anything extra.
The park itself was beautiful, a very serene oasis in the Italian countryside. The work there was so enjoyable and they are incredibly knowledgeable about all kinds of wildlife. I made ceramic butterflies for children’s workshops while I was there, they were amazing at getting everything I needed and giving me creative freedom. They really took the time to learn what my interests were so that I could do something for the park that would be exciting for me as well as to learn a new skill for themselves. They are incredibly excited to have artists come and visit, I would highly recommend this place to anyone but especially to creatives!

J’ai fait un court séjour d’une semaine avec Valentina et Lorenzo mais c’était l’un de mes meilleurs workaway ! On a tellement partagé, échangé, rigolé, j’en garde un souvenir incroyable !

J’ai nettoyé les boites à chenilles, nourri les chenilles, arrosé les fleurs dans la serre, enlever les mauvais herbes… du travail sympa d’extérieur ! Complètement atypique et excitant !
Valentina est super joyeuse, généreuse, elle m’emmenait partout, elle cherchait à me faire découvrir un maximum le folklore local ! J’ai pu venir à son cours de danse, aller voir un défilé en habits traditionnels, aller à une sortie scolaire avec elle… ! Génial !

Valentina and Lorenzo were our favorite workaway hosts throughout our three month venture!! Being with these two felt like hanging out with friends I've know for years. They are such kind and generous people who made our time in Italy so enjoyable. These two deserve the world and I miss them. A presto!!!

… read more Workawayer, they manage a lot of activities for me with the locals to visit or see different places. The huge house is in a kind of solitary but safe & tranquil place!! I really liked the place!! The town is like a 10 minute walk. Valentina & Lorenzo really need working hands there, because the potencial of this magical place!! All the friends there: Davide, Vito, Silvio, Celeste, Fabian, Ninuccio (The greatest), Miguel, Martina where really kind with me!!
The work with the butterflies is important because it's conservational importance & feeding them takes compromise, but is nothing complicated, but requires time.

I had such a wonderfull time with Valentina and Lorenzo
Right from the beginning, they made me feel welcome and at home. They are running an organization which aim is to protect biodiversity and more specifically butterflies.

During my stay, I learnt so much about butterflies. I had the chance to help in the garden, to collect caterpillars and bring them back to the NGO, to feed them and to witness the birth of a butterfly.
I also had the chance to accompany the team during guided visits to the public and to maintain the place.
This stay was also an opportunity for me to speak italian. Valentina and Lorenzo also speak spanish and a bit of english.
The whole team is passionate about their mission and we can feel it through the work they make.
