Leonie, was a great volunteer here.
She has excellent English and also spoke to people in Spanish and German whilst here.
She is able to learn new routines very quickly and can work independently when needed.
She settled into our home quite quickly and although she cooked for herself most of the time(she's vegetarian and we're not!) it felt like

We wish her the best with her future adventures and look forward to hearing about how university goes.

I spent just about two weeks with Ami, Freya, Laila, Cooper and Paul and I really enjoyed my stay.
Everybody was very welcoming and I was heartily included in all the family activities, like the kids’ sports day.
I also got to experience quite a few farm related stuff, such as building a new fence (in pouring rain, but with ‘Kaffee und Kuchen’
… read more afterwards), buying new hay (and not getting it off the trailer at first) and even the stallion Doug inseminating a mare!
Furthermore I really relished my evening walks with Slady and Wanda (she really is the best dog, be sure to take her out yourself when you’re staying over).
Sometimes Freya would also accompany me, which was very nice :)
I didn’t see much of Paul, as he is building up a new business but he sure seems like a good man; all the best to you and your company!
Dankeschön for everything, see you all again someday!

I spent a month at Amy’s place, and after a difficult start to my trip elsewhere, it truly felt like a breath of fresh air.
I loved spending time with this family, always kind, caring, and attentive. They supported me in my future projects just like a real family would.
The animals are wonderful; you can really tell they’re happy and well cared

Thank you for everything, if I come back to Ireland, I’ll definitely come back to visit.

Jen stayed with us for about 1 month and we have to say we were sad to see her go but excited for her to begin her next adventures.
She is a calm, confident and capable young woman.
Her adaptation to many different situations is a very good trait to have, especially here when every day can throw something new at you.
She displays excellent

She fitted in with our household straight away and became fast friends with the children. She joined us on boring and exciting family trips!
Her Horsemanship skills are very good, and yet she is not afraid to learn new ways or talk about other methods.
She learned our routines very quickly and was able to help in many aspects of our busy lives.
Her level of English means we had many conversations and shar d many stories.
We wish her the very best in the future wherever her travels bring her, she is always welcome to return to us

Marina, stayed with us during July. She arrived to learn the needs of our horses and dogs and stayed as a house and animal sitter while we took a few days away. She stayed for another few days after our return, so that she could spend some time with the entire family. She also helped with an electric fence, a neighbour's cows and loading some

She is a very capable young lady, a quick learner. Willing to try anything
Her calm nature around the horses was lovely to watch.
I think she will agree she learned a few new skills here.
After learning the ropes( she is a quick study) she stayed on the farm for a few days. She managed the horses, feed, mucking out and cleaning. The same with the dogs.
I enjoyed our chats and her English is if a very good standard.
I would recommend Marina as a volunteer we thoroughly enjoyed hosting herComentário

My friend Sarah and I stayed at Ami´s place for 5 days. We spent two days by ourselves on the farm, feeding all the animals. Ami showed us everything we needed to know and told us about some nice things to do in this area.
I am so glad Ami accepted our request. On our first day we saw sheep birth. There were so many cute little lambs on the farm!

Hi Xabi
I had left things unsaid because I was very saddened by your sudden departure. A note on the kitchen table is not an appropriate way to leave. We are very open here to all walks of life and and having 2 Spanish here at the time was just the way it worked out. As for my partner being away, as you may understand that is a big adjustment for

My house is a loving family farm house. Not a city of apartment. It may be untidy and disorganised as you put it but we have what matters a happy home. We live in chaos because that is the nature of life. Not everything can be preplanned or perfect all the time. Perhaps you should have look for some where that keep more volunteers. I can't say I'm happy with your feedback but that is your opinion

People in the house were very kind with me,children were noisy but very friendly and funny , Paul wasn´t in the house this month so I could not know him,Ami was nice and taught me how to deal with the goats, and the job I was asked to do was very grateful and even funny. Goats are the loveliest animals I know. Despite of that I escaped from there
… read more leaving a short note for Ami, I was not brave enough to tell Ami the truth. Very bad from me. The house was very untidy and dirty, there was no organization at all. If you organize in a better way things would go better in the farm and in the house. There wasn´t much to do in August in the farm and many times I was alone with and sometimes with Pili the other Spanish workawayer when they say that prefer people from differente nationalities to encourage English conversation.
I was feeling that i was wasting time. I am sorry Ami but I had to say it. Hope you have good luck in the future.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

We really enjoyed having Kerri here, she was great with the kids and they took to her instantly.
She even helped on the farm. very willing to take part in our normal crazy every day life.
It was unfortunate the due to her type of visa she couldn't say longer. We would have her back anytime

Due to change in plans, I was only able to stay with Ami and Paul for 2 weeks before I had to leave. During my 2 weeks I looked after their 3 children, Layla, Cooper and Freya. It was delightful to have Stephanie & Lucy here, she was very helpful with my children and interested in our farm.
However she left abruptly to follow another experience, totally up to her.
I was sorry to lose her and left in the lurch.

I did a workaway in Ami and Paul's family for 1 month and I keep coming back since then! They are so nice and kind!! I had to look after their 3 children : Leila, the big sister, a perfect one! You're gonna have to jump with her in the trampoline for sure! She's so nice and helpful!
Cooper, the big boy! A toast with jam and he will love you!

While the parents were working in the farm, I had to look after them, in particular Freya, because Cooper and Leila go to school. I had to feed them, go for a walk, play with them and sometimes make them ready to go to bed.
Ami is a very good cook, she cooked really good dinners! And Paul is always ok for a break and a cup of tea.
For sure, one of my best experiences!! Thanks a million!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

With a bit of delay (after my time in Scotland), I'm writing this review.
I stayed one month with Ami, Paul, Leyla, Cooper and Freya. All of them are very welcoming and you soon become a member of the family rather than just a member of staff. The kids seemed to enjoy spending time with the workawayers and get used to "strangers" very quickly.
… read more However, chats in the evenings with Ami and Paul (and some cans) or watching TV with them should also been mentioned. You need to be ready to do physical work and to deal with the hard side of living on a farm (you will meet dying and dead animals and/ or come in contact with "disgusting" things like poo, urin, maggots or the smell of illnesses). As written in the description, you really have to be able to "deal with the unexpected". Do not expect a working plan, to-do lists or pre-planning when you will have your days off! On the other hand, you will be rewarded with a happy, funny, loving and a bit chaotic family that includes you in everything (as long as you want to) and is very flexible with your days off. Ami and Paul give you a lift whenever possible and the small town of Dunmore (nearly more bars and pubs than inhabitants!) can be reached within 20 minutes by bike. Working on the farm, you can learn a lot by experience (sheep sheering, cutting nails of sheep and goats and treat different illnesses) and strengthen your self-confidence as you will be able to decide what to do and when to do it very much by yourself.
Thanks for having me and I miss you all!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
