Hi
My name is Alexandra, i love creating spaces where people can BE together, play and celebrate life :) I am into Permaculture and a holistic way of living. I happily welcome any interest and curiosity. This opportunity is great for someone wishing to have some time for themselves, enjoy some Mediterranean nature and explore a more playful way of being :)
At our organisation, we are currently working on two projects on Malta:
A small permaculture garden, 3 years old that is also a community garden & event space for workshops on permaculture, wellness and human connection.
A larger farm in the infancy stages. It is aiming to be an education and wellness farm, focused on building community, human connection and growth, when it is officially open we will host retreats and permaculture design courses. Our first priority is improving the derelict buildings and make it more comfortable for people to live there and so we can start some basic events. We are just at the beginning of preparing the space and need lots of help with, preparing the land building and farming. Living conditions here are very basic but comfortable. We need support to bring this vision to life.

We are looking for workawayers who MUST have some previous experience either with gardening, woodwork or building and can work with hand/electric tools well. Help will include restoration/renovation DIY, gardening, farming, natural building and a lot of hands-on work in the field.

I have basic knowledge in permaculture and am excited to work with people who have the passion and practicality to learn and join our team :) The spaces we are creating is a space for human beings to come together, connect to themselves, each other and mother nature! Please only apply if you have the basic requirements i have mentioned above and resonate with the vision. I am looking for persons who are also open to transparent communication and self development! If you are keen send me a message with your experience and passions! Having a driving licence is also a plus :) Sometimes we require help with cleaning too!
Gozo is also an incredible place if you like nature, sea and peace! Great for swimming, trekking, climbing, trail running, diving etc and a nice place for an alternative community, where you may have access to holistic events :) Malta is similar but more active and more going on in general.
Ideal candidates are comfortable to work self sufficiently and have experience with some of these areas construction, woodwork, gardening and maintenance work :)

The island of Gozo is very tranquil and peaceful... Lots of beautiful nature , treks and a simple peaceful place to live ... With hot summers and a mild winter :-)

The exchange for my project, includes a small bedroom with additional basic amenities in the place such as a bathroom, shower and kitchen Etc . Wifi, Drinking water and cooking gas etc. On the Malta farm some accomodation is in a camper van, depending what's available when you arrive.
Food from the garden is provided :).

I enjoy doing this workaway a lot, I found a peaceful place, and had plenty of time to discover the magic spots of Gozo.
