Help with our children at our home in the countryside of Mallorca, Spain

  Description

  We are an international family Mum and 2 boys (Swedish, Argentinian, English) living in the beautiful countryside in Mallorca. The boys are 11 and almost 9. We have a labrador called Ella and also sometimes dogsit for friends. So liking and being confident with dogs is a must! Our house is large with 5 bedrooms and we have land around the house with beautiful olive and almond trees and chickens. Great for nature lovers! There are lots of lovely villages around and the interesting and historic capital of Palma is only half an hour away on the train. There are lots of great trails nearby for hiking and cycling and the beaches are half an hour drive away. I am looking for someone to do activities and babysit the kids when I need to do other work, to help feed and walk the dogs and to give a general hand with the running of the house, helping to prepare food, fold laundry clean up after dinner, dishwasher, general simple clearing, tidying and cleaning. We do lots of fun excursions to different beaches and villages and also like to chill at home and the kids swim in the pool and are happy to include someone into our family energy. It is important though that the person is also independent and can also do activities on their own.

  I speak Swedish at home with my children but the children and I also speak fluent Spanish and English. you can benefit from exploring Mallorca with the comfort of having a family to come back to. You get to enjoy the nature and countryside and beauty Mallorca has to offer.

  Aide

  I am looking for someone who is good at taking care of and creating positive relationships with children. I need help now in the summer when I am working for someone to stay and play with the children. The help will entail playing with the children, supervising when they are swimming or helping to tidy up and clean or fold laundry or help to prepare simple meals. Normally you will be with the children in the morning and free in the afternoons although my work schedule sometimes changes. I can drive you to the train station or bus station if you want to go visit different areas. If we go to the beach I can bring you along. I am looking for someone independent, kind and willing to help, someone tidy and with good manners to make living together pleasant. The other part is help with the dogs. At certain times I will have a lot of dogs that I dogsit and need help walking and feeding them. Clearing dog poo from the garden or on their walk.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own lovely bedroom with a desk and storage space. We have WiFi and air conditioning, although the house is quite insulated so is not normally necessary. It is usually cool to sleep at night. We have a pool for swimming. We eat healthy fresh food. From time to time we eat meat and fish. We look forward to sharing meals together and sharing life stories and experiences.

  Our house is in the countryside. To get from our house to the nearby towns is about a 10 minute bike ride and to the town of Inca it’s about a 5 minute bike ride. We are near the town of Inca and the villages of Mancor, Biniamar, Selva and Binissalem. In Inca there are lots of shops and a train station and bus terminal. The villages are quaint and lovely and there are lots of great hiking and cycling trails nearby. The main city Palma is 30 mins away by train from Inca.
  
  We like going out into nature and hiking with the children. I expect people to respect us and our home and to speak appropriately in front of the children. I am looking for someone relaxed and who has a sense of fun as well as being responsible. Someone light hearted that can laugh with the kids and all of the dogs!
