Description
I am Simon, 30 years old from Germany, currently staying in Malta. I decided to join workaway because it is a good opportunity to make new experiences all over the world, meet new people and to simply make travelling more intensive.
I am an optimistic and open minded person, who is deeply interested in alternative and sustainable ways of living. While I was studying social work I became more and more interested in gardening, community gardening and permaculture. I decided to use my bachelor thesis to find more out about the link between social work, sustainability and gardening. While writing and learning more and more about the potential of community gardening projects, and furthermore living togehter in community. And now during the pandemic I feel an even stronger need to follow this path to live in deep connection with nature and all being(s).
In general I am very into sustainability and highly interested in alternative living-concepts which are carried by good-will, empathy and with an focus on eco-, and animal friendly ideas etc... =)
I am looking forward for whatever experience may come!
