Descrição
Hi there! I am Christine from Taiwan. I am having a career break and traveling in France for a year. I want to travel to as many villages as possible and meet new people. I also want to immerse myself in the locals and experience the French lifestyle.
At home, I do a lot of sports, such as cycling, jogging, bouldering. I took my very first full marathon in Paris during the Olympics.
I also love to read and write, so I started blogging last year to share information and my thoughts with people. I am currently challenge myself to post consistently on social media for 365 days.
As a Taiwanese, my mother tongue is Mandarin. If you are interested, I'd love to share with you the character of traditional Chinese. I also speak English fluently since I've been using it at work over the years. I am taking baby steps to learn French.
I am in France right now. No strict plan. Thanks for reading my profile; I hope we can meet and have fun together :)

I enjoy every opportunity to get my hands dirty. I love to wash my bike and make it as shiny as a new one. I love to put together IKEA furniture, which is like a puzzle game to me. I even once painted my wall colorfully.
I have been a marketing communications specialist for a semiconductor company for over 6 years. I can design presentations and marketing collateral, manage social media accounts, and plan/execute for an event. Other small jobs I've done include housekeeping, dog-sitting, and receptionist.
I am very willing and looking forward to learning new skills. Whether it's caring for the garden or the farm, looking after the children or animals, renovating the house, or building a new one, I am interested in all of them.

We really enjoyed having Christine to stay. She was quiet, helpful and always happy to try any project that came up. Joan is a really nice and calm lady. During my stay, we spent most of the time arranging her artwork collection because it rained so many days. She is curious about my country and I had chances to share my culture. In our spare time, we watch movies together. She even gave me a tour to her workshop.
