I am 29 years old and come from Germany. During my work and holiday year in canada I used helpX a lot (which is similar, I joined workaway because of a few hosts I couldn`t find on helpX) and got the chance to experience many cool things like dog sledding, horse riding, farm work, au pair ... Since then I have been a helper in many other countries like Finland, Ghana, etc. and now I want to explore Georgia and Cyprus.

I am no educated craftsman, but I can work hard and like to take care of animals and work with wood. I have experienced horse places, vegetable farm, husky places and renovating a house in the swisse mountains and learned quite a bit about the tasks needed there.

I spent excellent two weeks in Have with Matthew!! The work is fun and he makes sure you are not overworking yourself.
While I was there we were doing some building,planting and weeding on his land. Not far away there is also a monkey sanctuary which I highly recommend to visit and Matt can make you meet some interesting people in his village. I… read more

A little late but better than never: I was very lucky to get a place at the "Blütenhof" since I asked only a week before and Mathias said yes. I stayed there in July for two weeks and it was great! You work physically but not to hard, and always with a great view on "Eiger" and "Mönch". The group which was there during these two weeks were nice… read more
