Hello, we are a couple who lives in the south of Italy. We do artistic and craft works. We invent and act theater plays in the schools and other public places. We like to express ourselves in any way and to know new people and ways to live.
We try to respect people, nature and things.
We like nature very much and spend a lot of time in the nearby countryside, picking herbs for tea or to heal ourselves. We make jams and dry fruits for winter time and make our own bread with home made mother yeast once a week.
We are very curious of everything. We read a lot, like to see nice and interesting films, to travel, to participate to local culture feasts, theater plays, having conversation with other people, working together and exchanging experiences...

Quais são suas habilidades?
we are very practical in different crafts: small works with wood, fabrics, paper, a little weaving. Teaching what we know.
Gardening. Taking care of animals. Doing small repairs in the house or outside. We like to meet local people, living a daily life including their job.
Felice writes stories and makes books himself. Dani illustrates some of them.

we are very careful in sparing the natural resources. We have a great experience in recycling materials and old objects, transforming them in nice looking things or simply useful things. (Mainly in summer we use sun ovens to cook; we have built them with very simple materials and they work o.k).
We use the car only if it is necessary, we walk a lot and use bicycles.
We have traveled in different places in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, always by our own means and using local transports. But it is the second time we use work away, and it seems to us a good way to discover other cultures from nearby.
We adapt ourselves very easily in any circumstances.
We prefer simple things, in the relationships and the way of living.
We believe in positive thoughts and energies and it seems important to us to spread the joy of life instead of the bad mood.

Dani et Felice sont des personnes rares. Leur manière d'être au monde et dans la relation à la nature, aux autres, a fait de notre expérience commune à la maison et au terrain un vrai moment de partage et d'humanité. Et ils ont laissé leur empreinte au terrain à travers leur travail et leur réalisation. j'espère que l'on restera en lien !

The time spent in Miki san's and Hiro san's house has flown away very quickly and it has left the sign of a great and deep experience.
They have projects and aspirations too big for both of them, but with their strong faith in such projects and the collaboration of many other people passing by in their life, many dreams will surely become… read more reality.
Their house is opened to anybody wishing to share their daily life ( in these days, because of some works to fix the house, cold winds and a cheeky cat also benefit impudently of it...).
Besides Hiro, Miky, Aka and Saka (their two children), we have met other volunteers coming from different parts of the world and interesting and friendly exchanges have born. We surely will cultivate them in the future.
There was a nice atmosphere in the group and solidarity among everybody also during work.
Work has been varied. In the month of November we have had to do much with bambous, with the powerful and and tangled forest. We also have done different works to fix and improve the house: to isolate, to panel the walls with wood, to do the floor of the future kitchen with beaten ground...
A lot of space was left to personal initiative with a constant invitation to become part of the commune project, giving trust in each one's capabilities.
We appreciated Miky's and Hiro's attention to the personal interests of the volunteers-guests: we have been together in a public school and also in an experimental school in the forest, we have attended a short course on bio dynamical agriculture in a organic farm.
They have given us the opportunity to meet valid local craftsmen and other people with whom we have had rich meetings.
Personally they have helped us to better organize and to enrich our trip in the Yamaguchi prefecture after our stay in their home.
In all this whirl of things, a few times we have felt in Hiro and Miky a kind of loss of energy but they have soon reacted to go on with new enthusiasms.
Aka and Saka, with their fresh tenderness are always very important in all this.
Of course, cohabitations are not always easy and obvious: misunderstandings, disagreements and uneasiness can rise and sometimes they are not easy to resolve, but generally, through each one's effort, these moments can also be crossed and the boat goes on sailing. The trip is worth it.
We are happy about this experience. It has taught us a lot and it has opened us new horizons.
We wish to say a special "ARIGATO" to those two beautiful persons and we wish them to go on on the path they have undertaken. We really would be very glad to meet again to go deeper in our exchange.
We also want to say a particular thank you to all the other companions of these days.
