Hi, my name is Stella, I am nearly 43 and I will travel with my son Gabriele (12yo).
We live in the countryside right in the heart of the Appennines, surrounded by woods and small villages, only half an hour from Florence, in Tuscany.

Me, I have been working for over twenty years in tourism field such as business travel agent, car rental reservation agent and hotel receptionist (front desk and quality check).
I love to travel and I had the chance to visit many Countries both for work and leisure

I am a very dynamic person who always try to improve and learn new things and skills.
I have a very good ability with computer stuffs but I am also nice at manual tasks like DIY, painting, fixing or building small objects, use drill and work tools, cooking and cleaning.
I know about gardening, growing vegetables and animal care. I any case I will offer my enthusiasm and cooperation.

Gabriel has just finished the first year of secondary school, where he is learning both English and French. For the moment his knowledge is really basic, but it tends to improve.
He is a very friendly, lively, sociable and smiling guy, absolutely open-minded and easygoing.
He loves to meet new people, different cultures and ways of life and he is often full of questions. He is a reliable nearly teen used to traveling and loves to make himself useful.


I speak Italian (mother tongue), English (almost fluent), French (intermediate), German and Spanish (beginner).
Gabriele only speaks Italian and he has a basic French and English knowledge.

We would like to improve language skills, especially practice English and/or French as much as possible from my side, but we would be also very happy to share our Italian if you like.
Love cooking and try new dishes and recepies and it would be woderful to spare my cuisine with yours!

We really appreciate to spend time outdoor, having walks in the nature or a bycicle ride around. We both love animals and reading book.

How can I help you?

Tourism - Hostel/Hotel/B&B: I worked in accommodation facilities and I am able to help dealing with customers and housekeeping.
Restaurant - experience serving food and drinks (coffee machin as well)
Further languages - French, Spanish and German spoken to a functional level.
DIY, painting, fixing or building small objects, using drill and work tools, cleaning and general help in the house.

We love meet new people and in any case we will offer my enthusiasm and cooperation.
