Hi! We’re Anna & Shahab partners in life, creativity, and curiosity.

We left behind our cozy home and full lives in Istanbul to begin a long, open-ended journey across cultures, communities, and quiet corners of the world with just our backpacks, yoga mats, and the intention to live simply, contribute meaningfully, and connect deeply.

We’re both the kind of people who adapt fast, get involved, and enjoy making things better, whether that means helping in the kitchen, refreshing a space, designing something beautiful, fixing what’s broken, or just bringing good energy to the table. You could say we’re a bit like a travelling Swiss army knife :) creative, calm, curious, and always happy to help.

Shahab is a multidisciplinary designer, storyteller, and digital nomad with over 20 years of experience in branding, media, and motion design. He’s also practiced in interior design, woodworking, and hospitality, and has a knack for turning ideas into things you can feel, see, or hear.

Anna is a former gastronomy chef with a soft spot for plants, handcrafts, and community life. She loves creating with her hands, from playful objects to big sculptures... and brings quiet joy, structure, and care to any space she’s part of.

We’re both longtime Ashtanga yoga practitioners, deeply rooted in movement, rhythm, and mindful living. We're also both sporty (Shahab’s a lifelong judoka + swimmer, Anna trained in gymnastics + functional fitness).

We’ve hosted many guests through our home (airbnb.com/h/rooftoph), so we truly understand what it means to share a space with care, respect, and presence. We're clean, responsible, and value being useful without getting in the way

After years of crafting our home, community, and careers, we’ve chosen to step into a new rhythm: slow travel, immersive cultural exchange, and a life closer to the earth. With just our backpacks and open hearts, we’re exploring the world one meaningful stop at a time, sharing what we know and learning along the way.

Shahab is a multidisciplinary designer, digital nomad, and storyteller with over 20 years of experience in branding, web design, motion graphics, and sound. His background also includes interior design and hands-on woodwork, giving him a strong sense of space, structure, and aesthetics. He’s tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and loves bringing ideas to life from visual concepts to building real things with his hands. He’s also a lifelong judoka and swimmer, with a grounded, disciplined spirit.

Anna is a former gastronomy chef with a deep love for the handmade. From playful sculptures to tiny craft objects, she’s happiest when creating with her hands using wood, clay, paper, or anything she can get her fingers on. She has a green thumb (we built a greenhouse together!) and a passion for plants, gardening, and sustainable living. With a background in functional training and gymnastics, she brings a mix of focus, movement, and joy to every environment she steps into.

We’re both dedicated Ashtanga yoga practitioners since 2017 and carry that discipline into how we live, move, and give. We thrive in spaces where people come together, whether it’s helping with farm work, cooking, creative projects, events, hospitality, or simply having conversations that spark new ideas.

We also hosted guests through Airbnb (airbnb.com/h/rooftoph), so we understand the value of being clean, responsible, respectful, and present. Above all, we believe in human connection, sustainable living, and supporting the places and people that make this journey unforgettable.

We carry our own tools for digital work (laptop, sound gear, camera), and we often create small video/photo content as gifts for hosts. We love bringing warmth, creativity, and energy into every place we visit. Whether it's helping organize a guesthouse, redesigning a logo, weeding a garden, or chopping vegetables, we enjoy making a difference in small and sincere ways.
