Hola!
We are two sisters traveling in Ecuador over the next few months. This trip is really special to us—it’s a chance to meet our father’s family here in Ecuador and connect with other nature lovers through the workaway experience. We know some basic Spanish and are excited to learn more!

-Sara-

EXPERIENCE:
A few years ago, I heard about Workaway, fell in love with the idea, and tried it out for nine months. I hade such a good time, that I went back to Sweden in 2024 and workawayed again for another nine months. Now, I’m excited to meet more passionate hosts and be a part of many more inspiring and meaningful projects through this way of traveling!

INTERESTS:
-I'm interested in ecological building methods, gardening with permaculture principles, self-sufficient living, eco-villages, and much more!

- Since I started learning Spanish and Swedish, I've realized how much fun it is! So, I am very happy to exchange languages and learn together!

- I deeply care for animals and their right to a beautiful life. I'm passionate about living and learning with them and giving them a voice in the human world.

- I love hiking, spending time with children, exploring forests, weaving baskets, spending hours underwater, slacklining, and dancing.

EXPERIENCE:
Unlike my sister, this is my first time traveling with Workaway. I may have less experience, but I’m really excited to dive in and learn more about life and work in different places, try new things, and grow through this experience.

INTERESTS:

- I love being active and spending time outdoors. I’ve done a lot of yoga in the past, and now I’m especially into hiking, swimming, boxing, any kind of movement really and just enjoying nature.

- Cooking is one of my favorite things to do! I’m excited to learn new recipes, try local ingredients, and share meals with others.

- I’m curious about permaculture, self-sufficient living and working close to nature.

- I’m passionate about social justice and working with people, which is why I studied social work. I hope to learn more about how communities around the world create positive change.

Quais são suas habilidades?

-Sara-
I have training in child care and ceramics. As well as knowledge in animal care, carpentry, gardening, and art projects. Mainly coming from workawaying in Sweden and working on a horse farm.

If my education in ceramics: throwing, hand building and making plaster molds is of any use, I am happy to share.


-Simone-
I worked in a kindergarten for a year and am very used to be around children. I also worked in different restaurants as a waitress and have experience in counseling. If interested, I could also give yoga lessons:)

I‘m a quick learner and I‘m happy to explore new work settings.
