Hello!

I am Sara, and I'll be traveling in Sweden and Norway from March - December 2024.
Right now, I'm looking for a workaway for a longer period of time (around a month to six months).

I want to travel a bit before I settle down and open my eco-ceramic studio. Especially because I find traveling/volunteering a very beautiful way to share knowledge and the every day life.

EXPERIENCE:
A few years ago I heard about wwoofing, fell in love with the idea and tried it out for nine months. My experiences with carpentry, farm, and garden work come mainly from these nine months in Sweden and from an internship at a horse farm.

INTERESTS:
- I care deeply about animals, love spending time in nature, and I am eager to find a way, to live, in a more nature sustainable way.

- I am interested in ecological building methods, gardening and farming with permaculture principals, self-sufficient living, eco village, and so much more!

- Since I started learning Swedish, I've realized how much fun learning languages can be! So, I am happy to exchange languages and learn together.

- Sports: Slacklining, Hiking, Snowboarding, Freediving, (:Hitchhiking:)

- I am passionate about most things clay related - always happy to share/learn with other claylovers!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I had training in the fields of animal care, child care and ceramics. And experiences in those, carpentry, gardening, and art projects.

Farm related, I have practice with all-year-around tasks:
animal care: horses, cows, sheep, chickens
carpentry: wood chopping and stocking, repairing barns, building clay walls, making paint and painting etc.
gardening: preparing the soil (for spring and winter), composting, seeding, taking care of the plants, harvesting, and so on.

If my education in ceramics: throwing, hand building, making plaster molds and so on, is of any use, I am happy to share.
