Hi! 🌸 My name is Rowan, and I'm a recent graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University.

I've been travelling since August 2024, I've been really excited to be getting out of my Toronto routine and immersing myself in new environments, cultures, and languages.

I work remotely as a marketing consultant for a fashion start-up, and spend my spare time with my pets and creating mixed media artworks. I love a lot of things, like walking barefoot in nature, a good philosophical discussion, and animals most of all :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've been creating art and developing my eye for design my whole life, so I love anything to do with painting, interior decorating, landscaping - anything that requires bringing a bit of beauty to a space!

I'm also very well versed in hospitality, having spent 6 months working at two luxury boutique hotels in Tofino, British Columbia, a popular surfing resort destination in an isolated part of Vancouver Island. During my time there I split my time between guest services (front desk), housekeeping (which I love!), and a mix of roles in the in-house restaurant, cafe, and pub.

Most of all, I'm very eager to learn and feel that anything worth doing is worth doing with 110% of my effort, I love surpassing expectations and embracing new experiences head on.

I love a good board game, I'm always excited to learn the rules to any game to enjoy with new friends!

I do also love video games, but find myself much easier captivated by real world experiences and am not overly dependent on technology (other than for my remote working needs). However, I'm always keen to discuss this topic with any other lover of game design and digital storytelling!

I'm also a big fan of thrifting, exploring new coffee shops, caring for my various houseplants, listening to music, and cooking (I always seem to accidentally make enough food for a whole household, so I love the opportunity to share this interest with others!!)
