We are a very fit, hardworkers and healthy oriented couple that nowadays have the fortune of being slow travelers as a way of living.
We enjoy very much our life and are very grateful for it. But because we also love to work and to serve, we do occasional workaways in order to meet wonderful new people and find the special happiness that is find only through service.
I am a landscaper and love to work with my hands in harmony with nature and my beloved wife is a hard worker able to perform any job she is given.

I am skilled in the use of chainsaw, hedge trimmers, grass cutting, etc and most areas that involve landscaping, tree trimming, shrub and flower maintenance.
And my wife loves animals and loves to help. Loves to cook, is very order and clean oriented and she is a very fast learner.

Thank you Ricky and Natalie for contributing to our vine pruning and enhancing the Quinta with your presence. A real "team" that complimented each other beautifully, work was carried out methodically, accomodation was respected and cleaned to an incredible standard.

(Help us fulfil our dream of ...)
John and Nicole are excellent hosts...there care and thoughtfulness went beyond normal expectations which provided for a most memorable experience. The accommodation was great and the vegetarian meals were superb. There were times we felt like guests rather than workawayers.
All in all a highly recommended workaway experience.

Ricky and Nathalie were great.
I could give them a job and leave them to it.No supervision required ,so I could get on with other things.
Ricky's gardening experience and knowledge was really useful.
Both were happy and relaxed people, easy to please.

Oriana is a fascinating woman. She is very intelligent and does everything by herself, she even fixes her own equipment, and she repaired my pants that were torn (thank you!!!). And the most beautiful for me is the way that she loves and respects her horses for whom she devotes her life.

Rachel is a delightful person. She is thoughtful, caring and concerned about the welfare of her workawayers. The cabin where we stayed was very cozy and had a wonderful view of the countryside.

We loved being at Nikolaus surrounded by its beautiful nature and the peaceful sound of water. Working there was a gift for us and we are very grateful with Nikolaus for letting us being in his paradise with his great intelligence, honesty, kindness and generosity. Harmonic and productive. Ricky and Nathalie are wonderful persons, who helped me a lot here. Ricky is a professional gardener and tree trimmer who gave the garden here a fresh shape. Nathalie is hard working inside as outside. Both are respectful and warmhearted. I really enjoyed their stay here. Thank you very much for helping and all the best.

Ricky is overall a very nice man! He is helpful, easy to get along with, interested in hiking, horseback riding, motorcycling, whatever comes his way. He has a lot of life experience which gives him a solid presence. I came to appreciate him greatly in the short time he was here and hope that his travels and life may be all that it can be.
