Heyyyy, I’m Rafa, and I'm from Brazil :)

I’ve always been curious to know more about the world and its different cultures and I think Workaway is a wonderful way to connect to people, learn new things and help people in different projects and open my mind even more.

As for my personality, I’m easy going and can adapt to almost anything. And even though I’m very social and outgoing I love to have time to myself and do not mind spending time on my own.

I had my first solo experience when I was 16 when I did an exchange program in Iowa, USA for one year. After that I got back to Brazil and studied to get into Law School.

When I was still in Law School I went to a program from Colorado State University called Semester at Sea, where I lived on a ship for four months, had classes on the ship and went to countries in Asia and in Africa. I also had different experiences such as solo backpacking, volunteering in an Elephant Sanctuary and going to a monastery in Thailand.

I finished Law School but I’m currently working as a writer, creating content for websites :)

In my free time I love to meditate (I follow a very different method that started in Korea), scuba dive, kitesurf, ski, hike, learn new languages, eat good food, drink a beer and wine with friends and family and discover new things I had no idea I loved :)

I'm working as a writer, working with social media and learning a bit more about copywriting.

I would love to have access to different realities than mine, and even though I don’t have many skills I’m willing to learn anything and help as much as I can :)
