For me, motivation and happiness work together. My greatest goal in life is to be happy, to change the narrative of those I come from and go out with a smile on my face. So that is what motivates me. Achieving all of my 'material' goals comes after that. Traveling is at the top, though. Recently, I have been making life decisions around whether I can explore the world or not. I'm so drawn to seeing something new, something different to me. The cultures, the dress, the food, the lifestyles, and the people in general. I think understanding someone, empathy, and having the capability of making someone else happy is one of our greatest gifts as humans. Being able to share someone's experience in this world with this opportunity sounds like the perfect way to make a connection.

I can definitely teach English, but I'm also very eager to put some other languages under my belt! I've been studying Spanish for most of my life, and while reading and writing it is pretty easy, I tend to overthink and have a difficult time speaking it. Improvement on that would be so cool! Also, I've been studying some Italian for a year and would very much enjoy expanding upon that. Those are two languages that I would enjoy a focus on, but I'm very open to exploring other languages I'm not so familiar with too!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I've grown up on a farm and have had quite the number of dogs from a Yorkshire Terrier to Great Danes which i'm experienced in handling. I'm comfortable with taking care of any kind of pet :) I also have a kid sister who's 11 years younger than me so I'm used to being around kids and watching after younger ones. I've done some gardening in my life on the farm and elsewhere, but I am interested in learning more. (Along with this I'm comfortable mowing lawns, weed whacking, pressure washing, and picking up sticks.) I'm no certified housekeeper, but I do have my OCD traits and would be happy to tidy things up if permitted. I've also worked as a barista for the past 5 years so I'm great with coffee and (not to toot my own horn) I'd say I'm proficient in interpersonal skills :) I'd love to improve my skills in cooking/ baking (which are sufficient but could be much better), gardening, any sort of housework like plumbing/ electrical/ or general maintenance are also some things I'm very interested in learning. Honestly, though, I'm eager to learn anything I don't know if you're willing to teach me :)

I LOVE to go on long walks! Exploring is something I'm super charismatic about. I will also always bring my camera to take photos with :) I aspire to be a travel photographer on the side. I also enjoy bike rides and kayaking if those are activities that are involved.
Right now, my life path is the coffee industry, but I've spent the last few years studying film and television so I love take little videos to clip together whenever I can.
I also love to read, learn, and cafe hop. I like to call myself a chai connoisseur because when I go to different coffee shops I'm also looking to compare the chai. I think it's just the barista in me :) Recently, I've been super interested in studying medicinal herbalism and cultivating my own herbalist lifestyle. Along with that, I've been delving into spirituality and have had a strong focus on honoring and respecting the body in what we eat, think, and do. I love talking about this stuff with people!!
Lastly, I'm a huge fan of writing and telling stories. I've been at a bit of a block for a while now, but it's still something that I very much enjoy and adore getting lost in.
