Hi, I am Mirja :)
I would describe myself as an open-minded and curious person. I love spending time outdoors, reading, dancing, writing, being creative, coming together with friends, as well as meeting and connecting with new ideas, places and people. I love having my hands in the soil, going hiking, and working with my hands, and am very interested in Permaculture, Ayurveda, holistic sustainability and deep ecology. I have volunteered in different places around Europe, South America and New Zealand, e.g., in social projects with children and elderly people, in a Buddhist monastery, or on a farm. I very much enjoy to learn, to listen and to try new things.

I am a designer/artist by training, and I like to work at the intersection of art and ecology, with the focus on holistic sustainability. I love working with children, in communities, with plants and animals, and the wild nature in general.

I have spent a wonderful week at Bea and Christian’s farm. We replaced the roof of the summer kitchen, worked on the compost, made biochar and potted plants.
