*At the ranch where I work my specialty for the past season has been building and fixing fence. We hired a third man for hay season so I got to spend pretty much the whole season out building and fixing fence with the cows. I can do braces, mending, etc. I'm still kind of learning how to do gates.

Edgar is a good man with much knowledge of the area and very interesting to get to know. The English club at the local univeristy is a good chance to practice your English teaching skills and you can also learn so much from the students. I spent exactly one month here. My time there was well spent. A majority of my days were spent helping build and paint a new horse corral for the owner's horses. And also sometimes I helped with the cows for their afternoon milking session. Myself and the other volunteers were well treated and fed good food to sustain us.

Peter was a great help. He didn't arrive with a lot of experience, but did have a lot of enthusiasm. He learned to prune grape vines and ended up pruning 2 blocks of vines. He was a great help and good company as well.
I can easily recommend him to other hosts!

Deixado pelo Workawayer () para o anfitrião (Help needed in our vineyard ...)

I spent three weeks with Jeff at his property helping out with what I could. This was my first workaway site and I'm very grateful for having had the opportunity. Jeff is a good man who shared many things with me and sparked my interest in many new things. Thank you. Iron sharpens iron.
