Hi!!

My name is Maíra, I'm from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, and currently in journey around the globe with my dear friend Lia :) We’ve been 11 months on the road already!

I am a physiotherapist, botanical perfumer and under post graduation in Jungian analytical psychology. I am extremely interested in individual and collective health and the different ways we can achieve well-being, and I take this perspective to anything I set out to do. I always find myself interested in being in contact with plants, nature and any form of alchemy, including cooking! Cooking is one of the things I love doing most and I'm always happy to learn new recipes.

I enjoy living life lightly, with open smile, expressing myself artistically, and being in movement like dancing, singing, writing, practicing yoga or just be in contemplation. I’m constantly looking to expand my horizons with responsibility and serenity.

I love traveling, getting to know new cultures and learn new perspectives about the world, especially about healing and health practices, food, art and the collective. I believe that clear communication and respect are keys to living in harmony with other people.

My previous experiences of working in communities, retreats and exchanges, made me recognize that I have the initiative to always come up with creative solutions for daily challenges, in addition to adding good experience with production and management.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I live my life always searching for knowledge in different fields, and thus adding a lot of experience on this journey. I am glad to share them with you in the following areas:

- Cooking
- Driving a car
- Practicing Portuguese or English.
- I am always happy working and studying with the plants, so any work from planting to the production of natural products and medicines.
- I love playing and taking care of children!! And I have a huge experience with them.
- I am a very clean/tidy person, so any general housework.
- Basic content for websites and social media.
- Hotel management and event planning. I have experience in dealing with people of different nationalities.
- Client/guest administration (email, reception)
- Team management.
- Also, I have been working over 5 years as a therapist, and having a transdisciplinary approach to taking care of the body and emotions. If we agree in advance, I can also offer: Health & well being sessions, private pilates classes, aura alignment, therapeutic and relaxing massage, auriculotherapy (chinese medicine) and more.

And I'm coming with good will and determination to learn new skills :)

Music, photography, and trekking are my favorite hobbies. I equally enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, I find it very easy (and enjoy!) learning new skills and I'm super open to contributing whatever is necessary.

In my free time, I always look for balance between social activities, exchanging with people and quality time alone.

Some days of the week I work a few hours online, but I can flex my schedule according to the needs. Additionally, there is one Saturday a month where I have a online class all day long. Of course, i’ll let you know in advance.
