Hey! :)
My name is Maider, and I originally come from the Basque Country, a little region in the North of Spain. I've always been a big outdoors and nature enthusiast, and this passion is what led me to become an aquatic ecologist. I am also very passionate about traveling, and I love to learn in multicultural environments. I love exploring new places and connecting with people across the world, so in the past years I have led a pretty nomadic lifestyle. I'm always looking forward to the next adventure :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have worked as a volunteer in several environmental projects throughout the years, which involved gardening and forestry tasks, beach clean-ups, planting and seeding of mangroves or sea turtle conservation and monitoring. I am also used to long fieldwork days (which I always enjoy) due to my job as an ecologist. During my years as a student, I also worked as a tutor for kids in topics such as biology, English, Spanish and Basque. I also have some experience working in hostels and guesthouses.

I would describe myself as a chill and joyful person who is always motivated to exchange and learn from others. I love most outdoors sports, but I'm also a big fan of games (card games, board games...), movies, tv series. Anywhere I go, I always bring at least one book and one notebook with me :)
