Anything that has me connecting to the outdoors and community brings me so much joy! I am a very social and active person; I strive to make my days full of physical activity (surfing, hiking, yoga, skating, climbing) but very much enjoy my time to unwind and reflect. I am very eager to try new hobbies, explore unique crafts and learn different sets of skills. I am most engaged and fulfilled when working with my hands and head, learning about the how's so much as the why's. People and the planet are incredibly inspiring and I strive to appreciate and contribute wherever I can. I am always searching for challenging opportunities always starting off simply with an "idea" , however crazy or underqualified I may be, and making it work - Virginia

I live every day of my life in gratitude for my existence. From the moment I wake up till I close my eyes, I am thankful to be alive. This life is so precious and filled with so much love and beauty and I want to be its witness. There is nothing more important to me than living true to my purpose. I allow my inner intuition to guide me and trust that I will accomplish all that I am destined to do. There is joy to be found in every moment of my life whether it’s working out in the fields or at home making dinner for friends. My relationship with the Earth is incredibly special to me. I find home in nature because there is an answer for all my questions. I seek knowledge, harmony and peace. I am on a never ending adventure to experience, wander and embrace the waves of life.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My skills and expertise relate primarily to the land and animals. I have plenty experience working in landscaping (maintenance, pruning, planting, harvesting) and caring for/ training goats, donkeys, chickens, horses and at one point camels. I grew up on a horse farm and have been riding English style equestrian since I was a little girl. I’m a yoga teacher, practicing and guiding students through yin, vinyasa, sculpt and restorative classes, and am very interested/ knowable on holistic healing and alternative approaches to medicine. I have an extensive background in economics and marketing,my studies at University, and am very passionate about transforming the textile industries supply chain to become more adaptive and innovative. Additionally, I love to sew and make/alter clothing, am an avid writer and know my way around sailing a boat:) - Virginia

Similarly to my travel buddy, most of my skills are among the natural world and the human body. At university I studied plant sciences and sustainable agriculture and I continue to explore this field and adjacent areas of interest. Through various opportunities I’ve developed a wide range of knowledge and skill in farming, landscape and design, gardening, and dairy cow milking. I am a yoga teacher and dance lover. My practice and my teaching style center around empowerment and feeling good in your own skin. I guide my students through practices that allow them to find union between the mind and body. If you need help in the kitchen, I’m there. I’ve worked in a bakery and hosted and cooked for countless family dinners and celebrations. I’m adaptable to new situations and a quick and eager learner. I believe in having clear communication and practicing active listening in all of my relationships. I’m ready and excited to learn some new skills!! - Mackenzie

I love me a good craft (pottery, embroidery, soap making…) anything that allows for self expression and freedom to get funky. I absolutely love music, although I am very much a beginner on the guitar and harp, I love to be around those that are musically talented and will provide the supporting dancer, singer, or egg shaker. I have lots of energy and am never opposed to striking up a silly game or conversation. Unlike my counterpart Mackenzie, I am not skilled in the kitchen, but am very motivated to learn some tips and tricks with cooking and baking. - Virginia

Moving my body is my favorite thing to do. Dancing, hiking, surfing, swimming, running, rock climbing, yoga whatever the outlet I love to move!! Equally I enjoy using my mind through reading, writing, art and music. I play guitar, some ukulele and enjoy a good drum circle. Any activity that allows me to be creative and express myself no matter the medium makes my soul feel alive. I love getting into deep conversations about our purposes in life and discovering why people are the way they are. I welcome and embrace all the wonderful new opportunities!! - Mackenzie
