Hello! My name is Luis, and I am excited to be apart of Workaway as it is something new to me. I have recently completed secondary (high school), and I am currently studying in undergrad for health management. What motivates me is my passion for helping others and being someone that is actively ready for what faces them. I find joy in that because I have always found that helping others can help you learn more about yourself. I would describe myself as easygoing, friendly and radiant. I enjoy playing soccer/football with my friends and have enjoyed playing it since I was little. I am really into music and can be found jamming some tunes in my sisters car. I am very close with my family, as my family are such a big part of my life. Ever since I was in my first year of high school, I have always felt there was a calling to help outside of my country, the United States, and I have felt the need to succeed that. Whether that's helping out a community, teaching a language, or immersing myself into a new culture, I know that I can be a helping hand to those that I serve!

Quais são suas habilidades?

My skills range from a variety of different abilities. I have experience in mentoring, in school I mentored new students and connected with them through different activities that my school did. I also have helped organize different events and special occasions for the school as part of the mentoring program. I am also experienced in animal shelter since I was 14, volunteering and have always been passionate about helping animals that need it.There is so much involved in taking care of animals, and it goes beyond the basic necessities. I also have participated in a communications club, which was focused on debates in school. I am very experienced in working environments, since early secondary I have helped out at my uncle's restaurant, where I served guests and took part in service. This has helped me become a very perseverant person and ready for any task that may be needed. I have received my education with a honors diploma and currently taking university courses.
