🌿 Who I am
Hi! I’m Luca, I’m 20 years old and I come from a small mountain village in northern Italy. Growing up among forests and silence taught me to appreciate nature, tranquillity, and simplicity. I now live in Brescia, where I study at university. In summer I work as a waiter to support myself and travel.

🎯 Why I do Workaway
This is my first volunteering/exchange experience. For this reason, I prefer short projects (2 weeks – 1 month): I’m looking for an opportunity to break the routine, meet new people, and improve a language.

🏠 Living together
I’m a calm, respectful, and positive person. I already live with three other guys, so sharing spaces, collaborating, and keeping things tidy is part of my daily life. I can cook, clean, and manage a house independently. I like creating a peaceful and communicative atmosphere.

🛠️ Practical skills
I consider myself a curious generalist: I learn quickly and adapt easily. I’m good with my hands and can manage small household tasks, assembling, repairs, gardening, and DIY activities. Changing tasks doesn’t scare me — it actually motivates me.

🌲 Interests
Nature is my element: hiking, skiing, climbing, fishing, mushroom picking. In my free time I listen to music, read, and always look for something that helps me grow or discover something new.

🤝 What I’m looking for
I’m looking for an authentic and dynamic experience where I can learn, help out, and share daily life. I’m ready to contribute wherever needed, with flexibility and a positive attitude.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I’ve been working every summer since I was 16, which taught me to be active, responsible and adaptable. Over the years I’ve gained experience in different kinds of practical work: from basic construction tasks to supporting various activities depending on the workplace. I also completed an internship at the local municipality, where I learned organisation, reliability and how to deal with many different people and situations.

I have a solid background in the restaurant industry, so I’m comfortable with fast-paced environments, teamwork and customer service. I can drive, cook, and manage all household tasks — skills I developed when I moved away from home for university.

I enjoy practical work and learning new things, and I’m quick to adapt to whatever is needed. In my free time I like hands-on activities such as cutting wood, gardening, and doing small DIY repairs or maintenance. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, I learn fast, and I genuinely enjoy helping wherever I can.
