We are from Sydney, Australia and love outdoor sports, learning languages and living among different cultures around the world. In our free time, we are surfing, hiking or learning a new language.

Both of us decided to take a break from our regular jobs, and travel the world. We have a youth mobility visa which allows us to stay in Spain for up to a year and we are flexible with our time and destinations.

We are curious about Spanish culture and are excited to find hosts who can immerse us in their traditions, share some local recipes, or even teach us a new language. We're fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and have been learning Spanish and Italian on our trip. We are looking for any opportunities to improve our language skills.

Over the past six months, we've travelled through the landscapes of Mexico and Europe. Our main highlights have been in the mountains and being by the beach so this is something we hope to be surrounded by whilst on a workaway.

We're interested in language exchanges. We are both fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. On our trip we've been learning Spanish and Italian. During our stay, we're committed to improving our Spanish, and we see this as an excellent chance for language learning. One of us can speak Spanish at intermediate level already.

Quais são suas habilidades?

🤗 Our Skills:
Cooking: Since we started our travels, we have been cooking a lot as we love to buy fresh food and eat healthy. We love to cook all sorts of cuisines, like to eat healthy and we are happy to cook together or independently. We have also embraced the Mediterranean diet so we eat this most often now!

Gardening: We have stayed on two ecofarms doing gardening work and harvesting of produce.

Dog-sitting: We have a family pet back home and have dog-sit (and house-sit) for others before. We are familiar with what is needed if our hosts require this.

Painting: On our last workaway, we painted a living room for our host. We are not professional painters but can help with any home DIY.

🏗️ Our background:
We both come from corporate backgrounds in property and economics so we are pretty good at organising ourselves and time management to adapt to your needs. We also have some experience in graphic design and building websites and these are skills which we are trying to develop further online while we travel.

As a couple, we're looking for a welcoming host who can offer us a space to stay and a place that is well-connected to nature for our time off. We are interested in Spanish culture, history, the languages and want to experience living with a Spanish host.

Together, we are very relaxed about how our hosts would like the days arranged and we understand a balance of independence and contributing with our hosts. We enjoy the beach, sports and hikes outdoors so this is what we would be looking for in our free time.

If you're looking for two easygoing people eager to be a part of your community while sharing laughs, experiences, and language skills, we'd love to connect.

If our hosts would like to do any video calls beforehand to meet us or ask any questions, we can definitely arrange that through Whatsapp or any other application.
