Hello! My name is Léopold, I’m 21 and I come from Lille, in northern France. I am currently taking a gap year from my studies at the French Civil Aviation University, where I am studying to become an air traffic controller.
I want to use this time to travel, discover new cultures, and especially to improve my English, which will be essential for my future career.
I would describe myself as calm, optimistic, and organized. I really enjoy sports, games, and video editing. I am also curious and always motivated to learn new skills. I like helping out, taking part in collective projects, and sharing good moments with the people I meet.
I come from a big family (two brothers and two sisters), so I am used to living with others and adapting to different situations.
Through Workaway, I hope to meet people from different backgrounds, discover their way of life, and contribute to their projects with energy and a positive attitude.

Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Léopold, j’ai 21 ans et je viens de Lille. Je suis en année de césure à l’École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile, où je me prépare à devenir contrôleur aérien.
Je profite de cette année pour voyager, rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et surtout améliorer mon anglais. J’aime le sport, les jeux en tout genre, le montage vidéo, et je suis toujours curieux d’apprendre de nouvelles choses. Calme, optimiste et organisé, je suis motivé pour vivre de nouvelles expériences et partager de bons moments.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I speak French fluently, have a good level of English, and some basic knowledge of Spanish. I enjoy language exchange and I am always happy to practice and improve. I have experience with children, having done several babysitting jobs and helping with homework. I feel comfortable spending time with kids, playing with them, and supporting them in their daily routines. I am also a sports enthusiast, especially in volleyball, and I enjoy sharing my energy in physical activities or team projects.
During my years at a military high school, I learned discipline, respect for instructions, teamwork, and perseverance. These values help me stay organized, responsible, and motivated when facing new challenges. I am also confident with computers and new technologies, including video editing and general IT tasks.
Overall, I am reliable, adaptable, and motivated to contribute wherever help is needed.
