hola!

slightly burnt out computer nerd on a break from the 9-5 life to explore some new places and different ways to live.

I have been digital nomad-ing and doing the communal living thing for most of the last 3 years around the US and Mexico.

Did 5 weeks of workaway-ing last year at a permaculture farm and I really liked it. Hoping to find another great group of people and an opportunity to contribute to an interesting goal.

Currently taking time off from work and looking to try some new things that don't involve a screen.

Also working on a few personal projects that make me no money so would like to find something fun/interesting/challenging to do along with it.

Very interested in growing my community and expanding my knowledge of everything in the world.

I have only one review on workaway but I can provide other references on couchsurfing or other folks I've travelled / volunteered with if needed

I know a little bit about a lot of things.

Overall I am very organized, detail oriented and have a knack/interest/obsession for making things more efficient. I am a good communicator and have experience leading / managing people and projects.

I am relatively tech-savvy. Professionally I design and make web applications.

I am getting pretty good at using AI bots to automate things and make repetitive tasks easier. like i made this for a project recently https://chatgpt.com/g/g-kJ2i1rFDl-location-grabber

Also, just started tinkering with a raspberry pi, would be very interested in collaborating on some community projects to build different kinds of real world tools.

In general I have a strong appetite for DIY projects and trying new things. Put me on a project and I'll make it happen. I've done some light carpentry, various home improvement projects and a bit of gardening/forestry...

I'm told I'm a pretty good cook. I cook a lot for myself and have become very motivated to maintain a diet of natural, nutrient dense foods without preservatives and ultra-processing. so far so good. I do also enjoy the opportunity to cook for bigger groups and experiment with more ambitious recipes.
