Hi and welcome to my profile!:)

I'm Kristine. Born and raised in Latvia but the last 5 years have mostly spent in UK. I have graduated from the University of East London and have a bachelor's degree in Urban Dance Practice. Now I have changed my career path and I am about to finish a course in Soft Tissue Therapy.

Helping others I find very fulfilling. Seeing that I have made a positive contribution to this world gives me very rewarding feeling. I am also always interested in getting to know different people, cultures, and ways of living. Diversity of this world truly fascinates and inspires me. These are also the main reasons why I have joined the Workaway community.

I would describe myself as a calm, reliable, and respectful person. I am hardworking and always take seriously the responsibilities entrusted to me. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for me to open up to new people but as a person, I am very friendly. I love to socialize, however, I also need time alone to recharge:) I am really keen on learning and gaining new knowledge and skills. There is so much in this world that I would like to be able to do and know.

Quais são suas habilidades?

-I have experience in childcare. I’m also holding certificate in Childcare Basics.
- I have knowledge and skills in customer service
- I have worked as a barista.
- I have worked as a dance teachers assistant for children aged 2-12
- I have knowledge and skills in the events organization
- I can play piano and block flute
- I love to sing
- I can dance and choreograph in various urban dance style forms, however, due to an injury have been off from dancing for a while and now try to get back into it but keep it as a hobby.
- I have Active Q Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing & Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Exercise, Movement and Dance
- I am able to take care of animals (dogs, horses, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish)
- I have done horse riding at a hobby level and have some knowledge and skills in horse keeping and stable work.
- I am good at cleaning and housekeeping

- currently, I am particularly interested in psychology and human physiology.
- I am into meditation and the practice of it has become of my everyday life.
- I’m concerned about the environment and I’m becoming more and more aware of various issues related to it. I’m interested in learning more about sustainable living.
- I would love to know as many languages as possible. I am learning Russian now through the app called Dualingo
- I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching movies, being in nature, swimming, cycling, doing crossword puzzles, play board games.
