Hello!

I am Kendra, I am 32 and my beauitful 7 month old daughters name is Zen!
I have an adventurous soul and am a very outgoing and friendly person. The same goes for my daughter! We have been traveling since she was born, she absolutely loves people and anything new and exciting.
I have spent over a year working and traveling as an English Teacher in Thailand, an Aupair in Italy, and an Aupair in Ireland; and I have been on a 6 month backpacking through Eastern Europe. I have spent the last year traveling around the US visiting friends and then moved down to work as a chef on sailboat charters in the Virgin Islands.

In March, I ended up leaving my boat job in Aruba, and that is where I was blessed with my little miracle. Zen was born at the beginning of December 2022 and I could not be more excited to be a mother. Many people think that you can't travel with kids, and I am here to prove them wrong! My baby is going to grow up all over the world and get to learn from so many different cultures and people :)

My biggest goal is to learn about gardening, sustainability, home building, as well as anything having to do with native/indigenous cultures and practices. I also have a great interest in Shamanism/healing/herbalism. This Mother Earth is my biggest priority. Learning how to heal ourselves while healing her is what life is all about. So my dream is to one day have a home stead of my own so that I can share my healing space as well as everything I have learned and gained along this journey.

So I consider myself a Jane of all trades! I am passionate about pretty much everything in life (cooking, art of any kind, reading, any outdoor activity, to name a few) if something isn't considered a passion of mine it's probably just because I haven't tried it yet! :P So I can't wait to see where workaway takes us and all of the amazing things we will learn!

Kendra:
I have a strong experience in: childcare, customer service, cleaning, shopping, charity work, language practice, teaching
I have some experience in: maintenance (building, fixing and painting apartment decks for 3 summers), cooking (it is currently a big passion of mine but I am definitely still learning, :) animal care (i have taken care of dogs and cats while owners were away) gardening (i've helped my mom a bit with hers)
And anything that I have no experience in, I would love to gain some so just give me a chance! :)
