Hi, Im Kate!
Im a fun loving Australian that usually works as an Executive Assistant. I workawayed for most of 2019 (Canberra, Denmark, USA, Morocco, UK and Canada - working with animals, garden work/maintenance and many many ad hoc tasks!). Im escaping the office again during January 2021 and plan to spend it in Tasmania! I’ll be travelling in a van for the first two weeks and would love to work with animals, help with outdoor work or whatever needs doing (!) for the remaining two weeks
Im well travelled (lived in London for 5 years), have fantastic organisational skills (goes with the office job!), extremely reliable, trustworthy and have a great work ethic. I’m really looking forward to getting out of the office again and into the real world - doing who knows what!

i enjoyed my time at the Farm. it was a mix of feeding and spending time with the animals and plenty of time to do my own thing - the amazing view of the sail boats on the channel and the beach at the bottom of the farm that was perfect for chilling out. I spent 3 weeks at Tessa's and loved every minute of it! the daily routine is easy and there is a lot of free time to do as you wish. I really enjoyed getting to know all of the animals, especially my little buddy Rambo! Tessa has a big heart and I really admire her commitment to helping animals in need.

We were very happy to have Kate at our place for a month. She has a good positive approach and a very good energy! She is very much reliable and very good at getting things done. She did general maintenance of our outdoor areas, made Hugelbeds and took care of all the animals during her stay. She is very good with animals. Especially now a very… read more

Susan and Finn made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
our workawayer group quickly adapted to the routines of daily farm life. I fed the animals as part of my tasks which I loved! the work is fair and varied, and Susans cooking is the best reward!

Anne is a kind and considerate host, I thoroughly enjoyed my first workaway experience at her property.
