Hi! I’m KT —A slow travelling Dutch/Canadian. moving around for the last 11 years. Living and working in numerous places, mostly through work exchange and teaching.

Enthusiastic, Empathetic, and Effective — Are the best adjectives to decribe me. I’m especially interested in longer stays where I can become part of the rhythm of the place.

Some interesting facts about me;
I lived on a canal boat in London. I was a project manager for a sustainable transport charity, promoting and teaching all aspects of cycling to local communities. I cycled through half of Europe using HelpX and Warm Showers, working mainly on organic agriculture and renovation projects. I've performed Tribal Fusion Bellydance on stage with Fire props in Goa, India.

I truly enjoy strong physical labour and getting my hands dirty.
Beautifying and Rejuvenating when renovating, gives me a real sense of gratification. I seem to have a natural flair when it come to painting.

I resonate deeply with children — they tend to feel safe, comfortable, seen and heard around me. I’ve worked with children for a decade, hence I know lots of fun activities and creative games we can do to keep them happy and engaged.

I’ve taught English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and German for many years to people of all ages and all levels. (London, Italy, Goa, Online.)

I absolutely adore animals, They are love in living form. I have always been surrounded by animals and naturally know how to care for them.

I’m happy to support daily community life — cooking, cleaning, childcare, hosting. You name it and I'll be happy to do it.

I’m passionate about tribal fusion and traditional belly dance. I’ve created my own Goddess Workout, which combines Qigong, tribal fusion, American tribal style, Bikram yoga, and meditation — a practice that strengthens and nourishes,
Divine Feminine bodies , minds, and souls.

About a year ago, when I took a break from teaching, I discovered my passion for designing jewelry and dance costumes — Now I’m completely obsessed! In my free time, you’ll probably find me creating sparkling, glittery pieces and elaborate costumes, bringing a little magic and shine to everything I touch, and everywhere I go.

Gardening & nature work: happy to help with planting/weeding/watering and outdoor tasks — I learn quickly and appreciate clear guidance.

Renovation & DIY: painting, sanding, simple repairs, restoring/beautifying old spaces and worn-out items

Teaching & education: I teach English, Dutch, German, Spanish, and Italian to all ages and all levels (tutoring, conversation practice, lesson planning, creative learning support)

Childcare: warm, playful, responsible care; games, activities, arts & crafts; children feel safe, seen, and comfortable with me

Cooking & household support: meal prep, cleaning, organizing, keeping shared spaces tidy and pleasant

Animal care: comfortable with animals, feeding, basic care, gentle handling
