Hi, my name is Kathi :)
I recently started studying to become a nurse, but would love to make the best of my free time by traveling, meeting new people and collecting lots of memories and experiences! Even though describing myself is not my strength, I will try :D
Generally, I think that I am a very outgoing an open person. I love meeting and getting to know new people, not only in the context of travelling. But especially during travelling I think that getting to know people will not only bring you (maybe) new friends but also the possibility to see the place you're staying at from a different perspective.
I like spending time outside, being active (but not necessarily sporty), meeting friends and generally socializing. On the other hand, I also love books and movies, visiting museums, crocheting and learning new things, so it doen't always have to be action for me. But that doesn't mean that I'm not open for any adventure that might arise.
I would love to hang out with my hosts or other worawayers or exchange stories and knowledge as well.
My workaway experiences so far have been amazing and I would love to continue on this path.

I'd love to learn some of the language spoken in your region as I think it is a great way to get to know a place better. I can offer teaching German and maybe if there is a common language we are both not completely fluent in, we could help each other improve. -

Quais são suas habilidades?
KIDS: I've worked with kids for a year during my voluntary service in India and loved it. Playing games, being creative and so on, you name it. Since I worked in a school for children with disabilities, I also have some experience with teaching basic English and Arts and Crafts.
HOUSEWORK: Living in shared flats for almost four years now, I know how to clean and cook (not necessarily perfect, but edible) and can help you with household chores. When it comes to more handy stuff like building and fixing things, I wouldn't say that I am an expert at any of that but I am not afraid to try new things or find a creative solution for occuring problems. Thankfully my dad found it very important that my siblings and I know how to use basic tools and do simble handy tasks so this might com in useful. If you explain a task to me, I'll definitely try my best to do it right.
OTHER: Thinking about skills I have always amkes me question whether I know anything worth teaching. But I have basic knowledge of quite a few languages and and am fluent in German and English, so maybe we could practise languages together? And as said before, I am not afraid to try something I hve never done before as long as someone can maybe at least roughly explain it to me. After all, learning something new is never a bad thing -
