Hi there! My name is Kathi and I am a 21 year old girl from Austria who has the urge to see the world. :) I have travelled to almost 30 countries already, but I am not trying to stop there. I love seeing new cultures and learning about people's lives all over the world.
I spent a year in the USA doing a high school exchange program and lived in Spain for half a year while studying at a Spanish university as an Erasmus study abroad semester. I speak German and English fluently, am currently extending my Spanish knowledge and know basic French. I am always open for language exchange!
I love being active, spending time in nature, cooking & baking, reading, and trying out new things.
I would love to do my part in the world while gaining amazing experiences. That's what motivated me to join workaway :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I grew up on a farm so I love living with pets! I myself have pigs, chickens, a peacock and two dogs. I have always helped a lot around the house and done agricultural work since there is always something to do. My family also owns a traditional restaurant selling self-made food and products, which is where I enjoy getting in touch with guests and customers as well as prepare and cook the food - I love cooking! I designed our website and overall manage the marketing for the restaurant.
I am currently studying digital marketing so I have accumulated knowledge in marketing, video and photography editing skills and design competences. I have also just completed a 5 month internship working as a content producer in a marketing department which has given me valuable insights from a company's perspective.

I am a very active person and always up to try something new! I live close to the mountains so spending time in nature is something I love. I hike, go to the gym, play all kinds of ball games (volleyball, badminton, padeltennis,...) and like everything with water sports.
I am also a very big board game enthusiast. I love game nights and having fun playing all kinds of games with friends!
I also like to bake, cook, read books and enjoy music a lot. Those things make me happy and clear my mind, especially when I can share them with others.
