Hey!

I'm Katrin, 28 years old and from Austria. I grew up in a small town in the middle of the Austrian Alps. Currently I'm living in Graz, a vibrant city with a bit of a hippie-flair in the middle of Austria.

I'm about to change my profession - I'll be studying to become a physiotherapist stating this autumn! Before that I want to take some time off to travel, to enjoy the summer and to spent lots of time outside hiking, surfing and exploring.

I love to be outdoors! Growing up in Ramsau am Dachstein, a small town in the Austrian Alps, I was gifted with amazing nature and mountains around. I enjoy hiking a lot, also did two multiple day hikes in Austria and Switzerland. I was basically born with skis, some years ago I started to learn snowboarding as well! I regularly go to a boulder club and recently started swimming as well. And whenever I have the chance to be close to the sea, I enjoy surfing - so yes, I enjoy moving very much!

Spending time in nature is very important to me. I love to help at my parent's garden and try to turn my city-balcony in a green paradise as much as possible. Usually I grow tomatoes and other veggies and flowers there every year! :)


I enjoy traveling and discovering new cultures a lot! When I was 19 I spent a year volunteering in a cultural organization in Normandy, France. In 2019 I spent a half year of traveling alone through Greece, Vietnam and Australia. I was able to help at 4 different workaways during that time. I helped at a small farm in Greece, at a guest house in Vietnam, did house sitting and was a volunteer in a yoga retreat center in Australia.

Work-wise, I have experience in different fields. I graduated from a fashion school and therefore have experience in fashion and marketing. Also had a part time job in social media for a hostel for a 2 years.
My most work experience is in tourism and gastronomy. I was working at the reception of two hotels, in a the office of a ski school and did a summer job in a climbing park.
For the last 4 years I have been working in a coffeeshop & restaurant. I have been working in the kitchen preparing meals, in service, gained a lot of barista skills while making coffee for our lovely customers, and in the end I was also managing that place for half a year.


What else can I tell you about myself?
I'm a very easy-going, down-to-earth person. I'm quite empathetic and enjoy socializing and chatting but also need some time on my own - more intro- than extroverted I would say. I love to lough and have fun and have a good sense of humor. People usually describe me as hard working and very kind.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I enjoy being outside and work with my hands in the nature. I have gathered some experience in gardening while helping at my grandpa’s garden and while volunteering at a farm in Greece and a farmstay in Vietnam. I’m very interested to learn more about growing my own food and vegetables!

I love animals and I can also imagine to help with animals or on a farm. I took care of cats, dogs and chickens before, but I would like to learn more about “bigger” animals like sheep ect.
I also enjoy to cooking very much, I like to cook vegetarian meals for myself and for family. My dad ,who worked as a cook and as a baker, showed me some tricks.

I attended a school for 'Fashion and Marketing' in Austria, so I'm a dressmaker and I can sew and alter clothes. I also have some Photoshop and Adobe Indesign skills. In general I'm good with computers.

Moreover, I have a lot of experience in the tourism trade. I worked at hotels, skischool, at a climbing park and at a vegan coffeeshop/restaurant. I grew up in a tourism region, so I know how to interact with tourists and guests.
