Hello everyone!

My name is Julieta. I am from the United States but have been living in Madrid for the past year as an English teacher. I'm a curious, adaptable, and responsible person who is enthusiastic about making new connections and contributing wherever I can.

While I am new to workaway, I have extensive experience in education, childcare, hospitality, gardening, and cooperative living. I am always eager to learn and expand my skillset. I truly put my heart and soul into everything I do and am a fast learner.

Some of my other passions include writing, reading, swimming, and anything creative. I also am fluent in English and Spanish.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have extensive experience in education. After graduating from university, I was a substitute teacher in local public schools as well as a tutor at a learning center. For the past year, I have been an English teacher in Madrid in a secondary school where I strive to create a dynamic and engaging environment in my classrooms.

In addition to education, I also have experience in cooperative projects. I was born and raised in an artist co-op in San Francisco where I participated in numerous building and creative projects that involved gardening, construction work, and having a comfort level with teamwork. I am very interested in continuing and expanding these skill sets.
