My name is Julia, I´m a lover of adventures, being outdoors and trying new things!
I recently graduated in Urban and Spatial Planning in Germany and now want to travel during the winter months while contributing to social and environmental projects.
Over the past years I´ve been able to do Workaways in many different countries like Guatemala, Nicaragua, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Finland and it´s been some of my favourite experiences! The places I´ve been to, the projects I was part of and most importantly the people I shared this time with, have broadened my horizon immensely and taught me so much! I´m so excited to make some more memories and connect with amazing people along the way!

Childcare and Teaching
I have lots of experience working with kids as I have been babysitting and tutoring for many years. I am also a TEFL certified English teacher, I have given beginners English classes in different countries and have been teaching German to migrant women in Austria. An amazing experience was volunteering at a child development center in Guatemala, organising activities and teaching English.
Agriculture
I have some experience in organic agriculture as I have worked on multiple farms before and have helped out at an urban agriculture project in my city.
And...
In recent workaways I have done pretty much all kinds of random handy work in different Workaway projects, from small repairs to carpentry to painting. I would say I am a quick learner and I am always very interested in learning new things. I´d love to learn more about construction and carpentry. I also enjoy doing artistic projects like painting or other crafts.
I am always happy with any task and have no problem with getting my hands dirty!
