Hello, my name is John Raffaele Raulli. I'm a California native. I have lived and worked in Boston, Chicago, New York City, Germany and Korea and have traveled to 20+ countries throughout Asia, Europe and South America.

I am interested in the study of Italian, trying new things and learning alI I can. Especially, in the areas of food and wine production, animal husbandry and architectural restoration. I am a fan of art, film, music, and photography.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Teaching Credential in Secondary Social Sciences. I studied 2 years of Spanish in High School and one year of Italian at University.

I have many years of work experience in the fields of Education, Hospitality, Travel and the Restaurant Industry. My last Career was working as a gardener and laborer I have 12 years of work experience. My last assignment was on a Golf Course in San Francisco where I performed a variety of landscape maintenance including deferred tree maintenance and dead tree removal.

I am detail oriented and capable worker who believes in giving my best in everything I do.
I believe that I am a strong candidate for your needed work scope. I know that I am a good teammate as well as able to work alone. I complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and have a good eye and attention to the details of a final product.

I have had 5 previous Workaway experiences.
Argentina: in a vineyard 2018 - a fruit tree farm 2024, in Mendoza
Italy: clearing land - an organic farm - vineyards and cantina, all in Tuscany in 2019

I will be flying to Rome on July 27th. I am available to work July 28th through August 14.
On August 15 I am scheduled to arrive in Pisa to work the harvest in the areas surrounding Lucca.
