Hei! We’re Joel and June!
We would like to get to know what Norway and the Norwegian culture is like. We have been thinking about trying to come and live here for a while now, and now we found a window of time. :-) We would be happy to help you out in return
maybe a little about us:
I (Joe, 24) grew up in the woodlands of Austria. I spent my childhood building things and climbing trees in the forests. Nowadays, i often find myself hiking long trails in the mountains when city life gets stressful. I used to work a couple different jobs before starting to study. So i also like figuring out and fixing things around the house. I also was a paramedic in Salzburg for some years, so i still know some things medical :)
Yuana (June,23 ) is originally from the middle of Germany and is now studying in Salzburg. She really likes good and healthy food, and cooking has become her biggest passion. Besides that, she loves being active, enjoys running, yoga, and pilates, and spending time in nature. She also has extensive work experience taking care of kids ages 3-15. She also has experience with horses if you have any :-)
We both been studying at Uni for the last three years of our lives. We’ve come accustomed to the busy, self-structured life in the city, with big exams and lots to learn. Sometimes we wonder, if a more slow life near the mountains or the water could be something for us when we get a little older.
Both of us are starting our Masters (Psychology/Neuroscience) at the University of Salzburg this October. we will be doing the first semester remotely, giving us the opportunity to study online. This means that when we are not working with you, we will spend some time every day attending our university learning and writing stuff on our computers, and then be back in Salzburg in January to take our exams. So for that Window from October to maximally January, we are looking to find people to live with and help, and learn what norwegian life is like! So if you can have us for any amount of time, wed be honored to live with you. If you need any other Information, please let us know.

Quais são suas habilidades?
Joel is a former paramedic, knows computers, (i can also help with creating statistics for you ;-)), general maintenance work, farm work, a little cooking, i also did some babysitting, id also like to build a wood house sometime
June is really good at cooking, has years of experience working with kids age 3-13 because she works at a clinic with child daycare, is good at keeping a house organized and running. we two basically have two hands and a brain so were always happy to pick up any new skill.

Joel: I like sports like volleyball, running, snowboarding, i do kickboxing, long distance hiking sometimes, i used to be a motorcyclist but now more bicycle haha.
I really like music like most people, ive been a drummer all my life
Otherwise my life has lately been mostly refraining from these things i love because i focused all my time on my studies finishing my bachelors at Uni.
June: I am fascinated by good and healthy food, and cooking has become my biggest passion. Besides that, I love being making joe laugh, being active, i enjoy yoga, and pilates, and spending time in nature for walks or little hikes.

We worked on the vegetable garden and making it winter ready, we extended the driveway by the small house, worked on the greenhouse, did some cooking, small chores around the house, and rejuvenated the garage.
