Hello! My name is Jo and I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. I graduated university in August 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Community Advocacy and Social Policy and am spending the following year (or longer!) traveling. I am passionate about social justice, sustainability, community, and genuine connections with people, and love to travel and learn more about other cultures and languages. So far I have been to sixteen countries and volunteered in four - I have had incredibble experiences and look forward to seeing what else is out there!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I am a hard worker and a fast learner and am open to learning nearly any new skill! My most recent job was in administration at a physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic and I have done a variety of jobs and volunteer experiences over my life, such as tutoring, working as a teaching assistant in the Reconciliation Studies department at my university, and working as an academic mentor for university students with intellectual disabilities. I am currenlty volunteering at a hostel in Bulgaria and am interested in finding opportunities to work at hostels around the world.

I also have lots of experience cooking and baking, working in food service and customer service, working with children and animals, and some experience with construction, gardening, and DIY projects.
