We're currently in the UK getting ready to travel, we're planning to be in South East Asia as of Feb/March 2026!

Hello we're Becky and Jess! Jess speaking here, we're planning to travel from Feb/March 2026 in South East Asia. Becky is on an eight month sabbatical from working in pharmaceuticals and I'm planning to take a break after finishing my therapy training. We got our first taste of travelling together in 2021 when we went to Iceland together and have since been yearning to see all corners of the world together!

We would love some fun workaways as we travel around the world whether it's helping to build something, paint, meet new people, cook, clean!

My (Jess) personal hobbies/interest include cooking for anyone and everyone, meeting new people and hearing about their lives, taking care of children (spent all my teen years babysitting my sister and cousins) or just people in general, running, cycling, being outside at any given chance. Love any reason to move, whether it is hiking or dancing! My recent stint of working in hospitality and running around doing a hundred jobs at once really fuelled my joy of being around people and finding ways to brighten their day! Passing over to Becky now :)

Hiya, Im Becky! Similar to Jess, I love to meet new people and exploring new places. My hobbies include running, cycling, hiking and swimming in any body of water! I also love any creative outlet and if arts and crafts are on the table, I'll be there! I love a DIY project and will lend my hand at anything!

Skills from Jess! Come from a mental health background, my professional skills involve supporting mental wellbeing, compassionate care, supporting people! Outside of psychology I’m a keen cook having grown up in my parents takeaway and working in kitchens. Partial to anything creative, whether it’s painting a house or crafting something with my hands. Anything that lets me be on my feet is bound to bring me joy, I dream of being able to move around and meet new people for the rest of my life. I speak fluent English and conversational Cantonese. I would LOVE to improve my Cantonese and also learn Mandarin, I want to feel closer to my Chinese roots so a cultural/language exchange is always appreciated!
