Hi there!

We’re Helena and Mo from the UK (kind of - both immigrant kids, who grew up in the UK, but for the last 6 years we lived in Germany!), a couple in our 30s currently exploring the vibrant cultures of South America and Asia on a two-year world adventure. With backgrounds in engineering and procurement, we’ve traded our office lives to discover what the world has to offer!

We’re passionate about immersing ourselves in local communities, learning new practical skills and discovering different lifestyles. We’re keen to improve our Spanish, get our hands dirty in the garden, and help out with anything from construction to cooking. We absolutely love animals—especially dogs—and are experienced pet sitters with glowing reviews on TrustedHouseSitters.

When we’re not working, you’ll find us hiking through nature, devouring books, trying out new recipes, or cheering on a local sports team. We’d love to help you with your projects while learning from you and soaking in the local culture. Looking forward to connecting with you.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Helena has a legal background and used to work as a procurement manager, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing suppliers and problem-solving to ensure the smooth running of big public organisations.

Helena's other skills:
- Animal care - love all animals, grew up with all kinds of farm animals and am not afraid of getting my hands dirty, crazy about dogs (in the best way!)
- Cooking - it's my creative outlet and my daily meditation
- DIY - I enjoy problem-solving with smaller projects and I'm keen to learn more practical skills
- Gardening - mostly indoor plants previously but I would like to learn more about growing vegetables and fruit
- Writing - happy to help you with any type of writing, experience in formal writing, business proposal drafting etc.
- Teaching English - I can help you with your English through conversation or relaxed lessons or help your children with their English studies.
- Office / Admin help - Office organisation, answering emails etc.

Mo has an engineering and project management background and used to work as a programme manager coordinating major projects for public organisations - developing processes, overseeing engineering updates to aircrafts.

Mo's other skills:
- Animal care - love all animals, especially dogs!
- DIY / Gardening - happy to help with any kind of jobs and keen to learn new skills
- Football Coaching - love, love football - watching, playing or coaching it!
- Sports - running, golf, badminton, squash, ping pong - I'll gladly help you improve your skills!
- Writing - happy to help you with any type of writing, experience in formal writing, project plans etc.
- Teaching English / Maths - I can help you with your English through conversation or relaxed lessons or help your children with their English and Maths studies.
