I've always been curious about different cultures, places and ways of living.
I love to travel, explore, meet people around the world from all walks of life and different backgrounds.

I am very passionate when it comes to creating, whether I'm making visual art, drawing, painting, cooking, sewing, photography, videography or expression through dance, skating and music.
When not creating , I often prefer to spend most of my time in nature, swimming, hiking, exploring, gardening, bonding with animals, working with kids, camping and going on adventures!

I am also really interested in and would like to learn more about spirituality, history, geography, nature, philosophy, languages, traditions, learn new skills and immerse myself when doing so.

I also would love to learn more about healthy lifestyles, organic foods, permaculture farming, sustainable ways of living, the impact our choices have on ourselves, others and the environment. The ripple effect we cause and the outcome that has on our world.
In my free time I like to be outside, make art, practice yoga, create, skateboard, exercise, spend time with friends/ family, cook meals etc.

I find that I am the most happy when I step out of the box and try new things that may be a little challenging or uncomfortable.
I'm really looking forward for the unknown during my travels.
I've learnt that it's important to seek a change in scenery and step outside comfort zones in order to grow.
I've always had a calling to pack up & go and I'm really happy to be fulfilling that dream right now!

This is my first time using the workaway site. I've wanted to do one for the longest time and have heard so many good things online and from friends. Volunteering sounds amazing, something I could see myself doing for a while. It'd be amazing to experience the exchange. Slow in-the-moment living, growing whilst helping others, giving back and learning new skills at the same time. I am so grateful to be able to broaden my horizons and embark on this new path.
I know there is so much one can gain from these potential experiences and opportunities that I can't even fathom right now.

House sitting

Quais são suas habilidades?

Animal care, team work, communication, problem- solving, creativity, childcare, house keeping, food preparation, plant care, leadership, adaptability, time management, organization, attention to detail, work ethic and customer service.

I’ve been an animal carer for the past 5 years. Back home I pet sit, house sit and take care of all kinds of animals. I mostly have experience with cats and dogs. Spending time with/ taking care of them, walks exercise, feeding, clean-up, administering any medication and keeping them company.
Of course it depends on the individual but some pets require more or less attention than others. I’ve worked with a lot of anxious dogs that take a little longer to warm up to people, multiple pets at a time, elderly cats dogs, kittens and puppies who need 24/7 care.
I have some babysitting experience and feel confident when it comes to engaging, taking care of, and spending time with kids. I enjoy connecting, interacting and learning from them.
I have also worked in retail and the food & beverage industry.
