It’s Katalin – but everybody just calls me Keke – from Budapest, Hungary, 28, a joyful soul seeking adventure and just excited about life in general.
I was born in Budapest and lived most of my life here. I studied languages and pedagogy at university and became a high school language teacher of English and Spanish. I taught for some time, and loved it, but it didn’t feel “enough” for me. A couple of years ago I finally turned to my more artistic side and learnt drawing and (book) illustration for 3 years and it’s a real love and I plan to work with this in the future. Now collecting self-confidence and experiences for that:)) Meanwhile I worked as a barista for 4 years, and last year became a florist and worked with interior design and flower decorations – until now, when I hit the road again, wanting to see something new and beautiful in the world.

I’ve done workaway 8 times the last 5 years on 3 continents (not all with this profile) and every single one of them was an amazing experience! I truly believe in the beauty of sharing. May that be of knowledge, experience, stories, languages, food - or just simply joy:) This is why I love travelling with workaway so much, because this is what it truly offers me. I’m in love with seeing how others live, what is the concept that they call 'life' and just take part in it for some time and learn something new together.

Quais são suas habilidades?
I have experience and can help you with the following things:

- any art and DIY project! Wanna paint your walls with a lovely design? Need a mosaic at your front door? Want paper mache decoration at your house/reception? Need an illustration for your website? Need to get your fences painted? Here I am:))

- I speak English, Spanish and Hungarian – so whatever with these included:) language exchange, helping with tourists, writing for your website or translating, etc.

- I’m very open and talk to new people easily, so that might also help with tourism (worked as a tour guide for a year) or costumers in a shop/café

- I worked in a hostel a couple of months, and as a traveller spent quite some time in them around the world, so anything there

- I’m pretty good at cooking! I can cook for you and help out in your kitchen

- I have a basic knowledge of computers, not a web developer or an IT expert, but still might be able to help you out!

- Helping around the house or garden

- Helping and hanging out with kids

- If you happen to have a café I can help out there too, haha

Located outside of the city but is well connected with the center by colectivos and is close to the beautiful mountains.

Katalin,was a great energy at the house. She helped around the house and completed this staircase mural that will benefit the residents of the community for years to come.
