I'm Gaia, 36 from Italy.
I come from Padova (near Venezia), and I live in the Italian Alps, where I am currently based.
I am now taking a 3 months gap-period from work to go on a new Workaway adventure. When I was younger I've spent some months living in England and Ireland, thanks to Workaway, and it's been one of the greatest experiences ever ✨
IMPORTANT FOR HOSTS:
my project is a car trip from Italy across Europe, spending 3 months travelling.
I am looking for hosts in Europe where I can spend September / October / November 2025, in these contries:
- France
- Germany
- Austria
- Switzerland
I move with my own car, so I am independant and a little more flexible about the dates than it would be by plane - though I need confirmation from the hosts before I start my trip, as I will be doing thousands of kilometers and I am planning my route and my stops ahead. SOMETHING ABOUT ME:
I have a bachelor in Visual Arts and a master in Graphic Design and Illustration. I have worked ten years as a graphic designer and illustrator.
My passions are horses, hiking, spending time in nature and anything related to travelling and exploring new places - unbroken nature makes me feel bright and lively
I love reading, writing, watching movies, spending quality time with nice people and spending quality time with myself. I like listening to people stories, I am very interested psychology, neurosciences, learning processes.
I am an experienced horse rider, especially into classical dressage and spanish/baroque horses. I used to have a PRE stallion myself. I am very sensitive and good to work with animals. I also love gardening and working outdoor in general. Also manual activities like DIY, painting, building, are good for me.
I am a curious person, always interested in learning new things, especially scientific stuff. I am good at problem solving, lateral thinking and finding news perspectives.
All kind of good food welcome - can eat meat or going totally vegan, my body adapts as long as the food is healthy 🍀
