Hi! We're Karolina and Dawid a couple from Gdynia, Poland, ready to start a new chapter in our lives.

After several years spent in stable jobs and a comfortable routine, we both felt it was time for a change. We made a bold decision: we left our jobs, gave up our apartment, and decided to step out of our comfort zone to explore the world, meet new people, and live closer to nature. Spain has always been a dream destination for us – full of culture, warmth, sunshine, and kind-hearted people and we’re excited to begin this journey together.

We see Workaway as not just an adventure, but an opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow, both individually and as a couple.

A bit about Karolina 🙋‍♀️
I’m a very active and energetic person who, until recently, worked in the banking sector for four years. Spending my days behind a desk helped me realize how much I value real-life connections, movement, and nature. That's why I decided it was time to break away from corporate life and pursue something more meaningful. Now, I feel a strong need to break away from the corporate routine, explore the world, meet new people, and contribute wherever I can. Dawid has supported me every step of the way, and now we’re both ready to embrace this new adventure.

Sports are a big part of my life. I used to play competitive floorball for 13 years, taking part in both national and international tournaments. I also enjoy running, cycling, and playing badminton. My background in sports taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of teamwork.

I have experience in customer service, retail, and physical labor including harvesting and seasonal farm work with Dawid’s family. I'm always eager to help, whether it’s in the garden, with animals, around the house, or any new project. I'm ambitious, responsible, and love learning new things. I speak English at a communicative level and have a category B driver’s license, so I’m happy to help with transportation if needed.

A bit about Dawid 👨‍🌾
I grew up on a small family farm (around 90,000 m²), which gave me hands-on experience in agriculture, animal care, and physical labor from an early age. I enjoy working with my hands, fixing things, and have a basic understanding of mechanics. Currently, I work at a container terminal, handling shipments for the world’s largest shipping line, and I’ve also been involved in real estate – something that has become a new passion for me. Despite these responsibilities, I continue to help my parents on the farm whenever I can.

I’m a positive, open-minded, and sociable person who learns quickly and isn’t afraid of hard work. I love meeting people from different backgrounds, exchanging experiences, and trying new things. In my free time, I enjoy running, cycling, working with tools, and exploring innovations in agriculture, especially modern machinery. I speak Polish and communicative English, and I'm eager to learn Spanish!

Together 💑
We’ve been a couple for over 12 years, and we love traveling, meeting new people, and discovering new cultures. We got married 2 years ago. We both really enjoy spending time at the farm – helping out with daily tasks, taking care of the animals, harvesting, or simply being close to nature. Supporting Dawid’s parents has become something we do with joy. Whenever we visit Dawid’s parents, we return with eggs, fresh vegetables, and a smile on our faces.

Nature brings us peace and joy, and we’re excited to live and work in a way that brings us closer to it.

We’re ready to work hard, learn quickly, and bring positive energy to every place we visit. We’re hoping to gain new experiences, improve our Spanish, and build meaningful connections along the way.

We’re constantly pushing our limits, this year, we’re planning to run our first marathon. We also love the mountains, hiking and being surrounded by the vastness of nature gives us a deep sense of peace and inspiration.
