Descrição

Hi, we are Fenja and Marit (19 years old), two best friends from Germany. After finishing school this summer, we took different paths. Before that, we did a lot together. We used to spend school time together and during lessons we chatted a lot (but nevertheless Fenja got the best grades of the class:). Together we have been on holiday several times and we come up with the funniest ideas. But most importantly, we make the best pancakes in town.
From July, Marit made a bike tour for 3 1/2 months, which led her through Northeast Europe, where she met amazing people, experienced exciting adventures and learned to be spontaneous and self-confident.
During this time Fenja went to Sweden (where she still is) and worked on different organic farms, where she learned a lot about farming, but also about living in host families. So she is already an „old hand“ concerning this ;)
Now we have decided to experience the next adventure together. And as we are so fascinated by the nature of northern Sweden, we decided to travel to this region. And how do you get to know a region better than living with people and being able to help them with their daily work?
We are, also due to our travel experiences, easy-going people and interested in other cultures and ways of living of people. We would describe ourselves as open, communicative, respectful, funny, entertaining and sympathetic. You could say we're an unbeatable duo. Besides, we are two women who don't need pure luxury. Sure, running water and an oven are nice, but we can get dirty at work and don't need a four-poster bed. During the weeks of late January and February, we would like to give you a hand and learn something about life in northern Sweden. We would also love to explore the landscape around us, for example while hiking or skiing (okay, we have to learn the second one first :) We are looking forward to getting to know you and are ready for a new adventure! Are you too?

Quais são suas habilidades?

We bring a lot of skills with us.
Through her bike tour, Marit learned practical things like repairing
bicycles, but also how to quickly get in touch with new people and get by
with the means available to her at the time. She can also do small
car-pentry work and has some sewing skills (she sewed Fenja's outfit for the
school farewell :) Besides of German, she speaks English, French and about
three sentences of Polish.
Fenja learned a lot about growing vegetables and keeping animals through her
work on different farms, as each farm had a different focus. She has also
gained a lot of experience living with people in different constellations.
Fenja can speak German, English, Spanish and some sentences in Swedish,
which she is keen to improve!
We both have some experience dealing with children and enjoy spending time
with them.
